I received my Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer along with some other beauty products in a beauty box that I bought a few months ago. If you'd still like to buy some for yourself after reading this review, you can buy a 2oz size jar from their web site for $45. On the Juice Beauty web site they say this moisturizer is designed for all skin types, except for sensitive skin, is good for twenty year olds and up and is effective for hyper pigmentation, dark spots, uneven skin tone, and texture. It goes on to say that it's a clinically proven power packed age defy moisturizer that combines a brightening and refining complex of certified organic juices, with an antioxidant cocktail of alpha lipoic acid, Co Q10, vitamin C, peptides and DMAE for optimum age defying results. Well that all sounds great if you know what it all means and if after you have used all of this moisturizer you truly do see amazing results. How ever if you're like myself and you not only do not have a PHD in science and you haven't see any of these so called amazing results, that they say have been clinically proven, it makes me wonder if their clinical trials were done on a bunch of twenty year olds and not women of my age, witch I'm not ashamed to admit is 48. I'm no fool and I realize that sometimes we have to spend more money to get a better product, but when time after time these beauty product producing companies make all of these claims only to get our hopes up and our hard earned money out of our pockets, it just makes me sick. This moisturizer made an attempt at creating an apple scented moisturizer, but in my opinion they only came up with a sicken scent that barley smells anything like an apple and worst of all this sicken scent sticks around on your face. So every time the wind catches your face you get a good whiff of it and it makes you look around wondering where the smell came from. Then horrified you realize its coming from your own face and you duck and dive through the crowd hoping no one else caught the stench drifting on the air around you. Although this moisturizer blends in quickly, once it has your skin doesn't feel soft and moisturized at all! Instead it leaves your face feeling dry, tight, and uncomfortable. Thankfully I've been fairly lucky in my 48 years and my skin has so far managed to stay pretty much wrinkle free, but the fine lines that I do have never faded, or disappeared in any way shape or form after I used this stinky moisturizer daily for three weeks. I couldn't stand using it any longer than that, so maybe just maybe I didn't give it enough time to work its magic, but I really don't think that's the case. The only thing the Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer defied for me was my time and effort in trying to achieve the results they said I would achieve and thankfully it didn't defy me of my money as well! -

Last year I picked up some of these precision Q-tips simply because they have tapered ends. I needed something to help me clean away eyeliner and or other makeup mishaps that I tend to make and these are prefect for that. The tapered ends help you to remove the unwanted makeup with out messing up what you want left behind and they work great for removing unwanted nail polish that has mistakenly gotten onto your skin. I also use them when I'm trying to clean small items like my rings, or for getting in-between the keys on my computer and phone key boards. If you haven't tried them yet you definitely should. -

You can find 12-Benefits instant healthy hair treatment for sale on several webs site including Amazon selling for anything from $17 to $20 for a 6oz bottle. I received mine in a beauty box that I bought last month and at first I wasn’t very sure about using it because my hair tends to get oily faster when I use a leave in conditioner on my hair. To use this hair treatment you simply spray it onto your washed still wet hair and style as usual. It claims that it can seal in hair color, smooth frizz, repair damage, prevent split ends, and moisturize dry hair and many, many more wonderful things that we all want for our hair. I ended up being pleasantly surprised with this hair treatment because I never ended up looking like a ball of grease. My hair was dry, full of split ends, and fly always before I used this treatment. Now it lay’s down where I want it to, it has a healthy shine to it, and the split ends are harder and harder to find each time I use it. 12 benefits instant healthy hair treatment is just that instant and I would recommend it to everyone. -

I was given this Oral-B Sensi-Soft Ultra Soft toothbrush to try for free and am I ever happy I didn't pay for it. It sells for around $4.99 at most stores, but I wouldn't give them a penny for it. It's the worst toothbrush I have ever used! I normally use a power toothbrush, but on occasion when I have a need for a manual brush I always a soft bristle brush. This brush is so soft that the bristles sink down around my teeth to the point where I can feel the plastic brush head on my teeth. It also felt strange in my hand, like the brush handle was to short, or it was to light. I’m not really sure witch it was, I just know it felt odd in my hand and I didn’t feel like it was very effective because of these things. When my power brush is charging I’ll be sticking to my Oral-B soft bristle brush and be leaving this Ultra soft brush on the shelf. Maybe I’ll use it to clean my good rings, but I’ll never use it to clean my teeth with again. -

First off everything that’s in the box makes it look pretty intimidating, especially for someone like myself that has only just started dying my hair on my own a few years ago. There are two different steps of mixing solutions together, not just one like any other dye’s I’ve used and two separate wait times in between each application step. This dye also doesn't come with anything to protect eye glasses and I need mine to read. Not being able to wear my glasses made reading the instructions very hard for me to fallow them.
The gloves are the nice thick gloves that not many other hair dyes come with and they went on and fit nicely. However when it was time to take them off after the first step was done, I didn’t like them as much. I found them to be way too hard to take off and put back on. I almost had to ask for help to remove them and I was afraid I was going to put a hole in them while I was trying to take them off, which is how tight they really are.
I also found the tray that you’re supposed to mix both colouring solutions that are numbered one together in to be fairly unstable. The tray would move around while I was putting both containers into. Even after I poured bottle one of the liquid solutions into the tray and putting the empty bottle aside, I still needed both hands to squeeze the stuff out of tube one into the tray. So you can't hold onto the tray with one hand and place both of the coloring solutions into the tray at the same time. Because of all this I can see some people knocking the tray onto their floor while they're trying to do this step, as I almost did a few times.
I also found the smell of these two solutions to be fairly strong. I had a stuffy noise at the time and I could still smell it and my husband who was in the other room could also smell it, so it wasn't just me. This was just one more thing about this hair dye that turned me off.
Once you have the two numbered one solutions completely mixed you only use 3/4 of it and it does shows you a line in the tray to help you to know just how much ¾ really is, witch I found a bit helpful.
When you begin it says to first make a one inch part down the center of your hair and start there. I couldn't get this step to work for me at all because my hair would just fall back into place. This became pretty frustrating so I gave up on that step and just started applying it to my roots down the center of my head at my natural part. After that you apply it all the way around your hair line, front to back, than make half inch even vertical parts all the way up the back of your head, applying the solution as you go.
I couldn't get the vertical parts step done and done evenly like they show in the instructions picture and I can't really see anyone else doing it that evenly on their own either. After this is done it says to go back to the top of your head and make half inch or so horizontal parts along each side of your center part and apply the solution to each part as you go. I also had a hard time making these parts even, but I'm not sure if that was just me, or if anyone doing this on their own would also have a hard time.
Once you have 3/4 of the solution on your head you're supposed to wait for 20 minutes. When the waiting time is up you put those awful gloves back on and mix the package that's numbered two into what was left of the first solution mixture, witch mixed up fairly easily for me. Than you're supposed to scoop it up in your hand and massage it through out your hair, making sure to soak your hair from the top all the way to your ends. Than you have to wait another ten minutes for this step to take effect.
Now this next step really surprised me because I've never heard of doing this before. It says to shampoo your hair with a color safe shampoo than rinse the shampoo and dye out. I thought I'd be there forever waiting for the water to run clear, but that wasn't the case. After I shampooed my hair like I normally do there was no sign of the coloring, making me think all I did was just washed all my hard work down the drain. You than apply the deep conditioner that comes with the hair dye. I found no difference in this deep conditioner than any other deep conditioner that comes with a hair dye no matter the brand. You use it in the same way and it make's your hair feel like silk, but this feeling didn't seem to last for me. Once my hair was dry it felt dry and ruff and it also seemed to make my oily hair turn greasy a lot sooner then usual.
As for my color results, a friend of mine gave this hair dye to me to try and it was a light natural brown shade. I thought I would have red hair by the time I was done because the shade this didn’t contain ash and if I don't use a dye with ash in it my hair usually turns red no matter the shade I use. This wasn't the case, it just made my natural red high lights stand out a bit more than they usually do. How ever the rest of my hair didn’t look any more or any less brown than it did before I started. My grey hair has always been hard for me to cover no matter witch brand I’ve tried and this brand was no different. I can even say it was worse. I can still see grey hair down my part and through out my hair. When it comes right down to it, I found this Vidal Sassoon Salonist Hair Colour Permanent Color at home hair dye to be pretty disappointing! There are too many steps and to much waiting time for very little results. I can use, say the L'Oreal root touch up, for my roots and get much better results for a lot less work and a lot less money. Perhaps people with a lot more experience with at home hair dyes would like it, but for those like myself I wouldn't recommend it and definitely wouldn’t buy it no matter what the price was.

I've been using Crest Sensi-Relief whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste for a few weeks now and I can say that from the first time I used it, I was able to drink ice cold water with out a bit of pain! The other so called sensitivity relief products that I've tried have also done this, but the effect never lasted. With those my sensitivity has always come back with in a few hours to a few days no matter how much I've brushed with them. Since I started using this new Crest Sensi-Relief whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste I haven’t experience a bit of pain, no matter what I've eaten or drank and it’s made me feel like a whole new me. This toothpaste is a lot thicker then the others I've tried and the mint flavor that it has I haven’t found to be over powering like some can be, but I also didn't care for it until I got use to it. Now the taste doesn't brother me a bit and I even look forward to using it. This toothpaste also gives your teeth and your entire mouth a nice clean fresh feeling with out feeling, or tasting like a medication. Once done brushing I can really taste the scope that’s in it and this also last for quit a long time. I haven’t noticed any whitening as of yet, but just being able to eat or drink anything that I want to again has convinced me to stick with Crest Sensi-Relief whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste. When the new years best products come out Crest Sensi-Relief whitening Plus Scope Toothpaste is sure to be on it!! -

Sawmill Creek wines are made in Canada by Constellation Brand. They're available in twelve different flavours and assorted sizes and are all priced very reasonably. You can pay any where from $13 and up, but the few we've tried were all under $18 and taste like they were a lot higher end. Autumn Blush is available in a litre and a one point five litre bottle. Both of these bottle sizes have a screw cap, so there’s no need for a cork screw opener and on worries of having little peaces of cork floating around in the bottle tainting your wine. You can also buy some Sawmill Creek wine in a one litre tetra pack, or if you’d like something larger, say to bring along to a party, it’s also available in a four litre casks. The Autumn Blush wine that we really like is considered to be a rose wine and it has a pale pinkish color to it. It has scents of fresh melon and ripe berries to it and it’s a medium to sweet wine that has lots of peach, melon and berry fruit flavors that pop with each sip. The Autumn Blush wine has a sugar content is a 21 g/l, its sweetness descriptor is an M or medium and it has an Alcohol/Vol of 11%, so it's a nice wine for those of us that like a sweeter wine. I'd definitely recommend you give Sawmill Creeks Autumn Blush wine a try, or any of the Sawmill Creek wines, they have twelve different flavors to choose from in reds, whites and rose, so you are sure to find one that you love. -

I picked up some of these Ritz Chip last week in their Cheddar cheese flavor. I've seen them around selling any where from $1.99 and up. When you're eating them you can taste the same butter flavor that the Ritz crackers have, but these have a harder texture to them, are shaped differently and are covered in a cheddar cheese flavoring. I found them be to pretty good, but my husband only thought they were alright. They have 40% less fat than most chips, so they're better for you than chips and will satisfy that chip craving we all get. They also come in Sour Cream & Onion, their original, and they have a smoky Southwest Chili for those that like a little spice. -

The Robin Hood web site tells us that their Quick Bread Mix for their Banana Flavoured bread gives you delicious banana flavoured bread in an easy to use mix. You can have it made in three quick easy steps and have homemade tasty bread in no time at all! Plus, all of their mixes contain no trans-fat. The ingredients on this quick mix say it contains dried banana. When you pour the mix into your bowel you can see the little black or brown specks that real mashed bananas give off, but this quick mix bread has very little banana flavour to it at all. We found it to be very dry and tasteless. Even though it is a lot faster the make than my home made banana bread and the mix its self was under $2 to buy, it definitely wasn’t worth my bother to make. I’ll never buy it again and I sure wouldn’t recommend you waste your time with it either. It was a big disappointment and not worth the short cut. Even my husband, that will eat pretty much anything put in front of him, said it belongs in the trash after only taking one bite. -

The only reason I bought this Robin Hood Quick Bread Chocolate Chip Mix was because I had a coupon where I had to buy one to get one free. When I bought this one I also bought their Banana Flavoured Quick Bread Mix, witch turned out to be a big disappointment. I was hoping this one would be a different story, but it wasn’t. Along with the mix, witch is just like a boxed cake mix it also came with the chocolate chip mixture that’s needed for the centre and the top of the bread. It’s very easy to put together with just three additional ingredients, but instead of just pouring the mixed batter into your prepared baking dish you place half of the mixed better into your dish and than place half of the chocolate chips over it. Than you add the rest of the batter to that and cover that with the left over chocolate chip mixture and bake. Easy enough right? How ever once the bread is baking and cooled enough to remove from your baking dish, it doesn’t come out of the pan in a whole loaf of bread like it should. In stead the top half falls off right where you placed the chocolate chip mixture layer and you end up with a loaf of bread sitting in two half’s. But that’s not the worse of it; the worse part is the taste. We didn’t care for it at all because it came out very dry and flavourless witch was another big disappointment. Do to this I can’t recommend you buy Robin Hoods Quick Bread Mix Chocolate Chip, or any of their other Quick Bread Mixes. -
