Thanks ChickAdvisor and Scotch Essentials for picking me to try the Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape. I thought this was a great idea and I can see it being used a lot for a lot of different clothing items. I have a dress that I always wanted shortened, but I didn't want to have it sown and have to keep it at that length. So this was prefect for me and for my dress. Now I can raze and lower the length depending on where I'm going and don't have to make either permanent. Its easy to use, doesn't damage your clothing and stay's in place until you take it off. It's also a great product for anyone that like's to borrow cloths from friends that maybe a little taller than you are. -

First I'd like to thank ChickAdivor and Scotch Essential for choosing me to review Scotch Essential Easy Fix Button. I don't know how many time's I've had my husband, or one of my boy's come up to me and ask me to fix their buttons on their shirts. It always seems to happen right before we're ready to walk out the door and I don't sow. I'm lucky if I can get a button to stay on, so I thought this was a great idea. I found these very easy to use and they're great when you're in a pinch, but they aren't at complete fix. In other words they won't last, they're just a temporary fix. I think they would be great for people that work where they have to dress nicely. They can keep them handy in their purse, or pocket for a quick fix at work. I also think it would be something a bride and her wedding party should have on hand in case of a button mishap, but other than that, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy more. -

These new Ziploc Easy Open Tabs are the best addition to they're Freezer Bags and all of the Ziploc brand bags that has ever been made! I always had a hard time opening the other Ziploc Freezer and storage bags and for the longest time I thought it was just me because I have limited use of my left arm and hand. When I saw that they added the tabs to they're bags I realised I must not be alone. Now that the bags have the tabs I never have a hard time opening them and they're still the same high quality freezer bags they always where. Not once have I had a bag open on its own after being in the freezer for a length of time, or have air enter the bags. In my opinion these tabs just made the best freezer bags on the market even better! -

I love these Bounty select-a-size paper towels for a few reasons. They're strong, they absorb very well, even grease and they don't leave streaks when I'm cleaning glass. Being able to take what ever size I need for the size of the mess I need to clean up is a big bonus! I was always wasting paper towel's on small clean up jobs before they came out with the select a size, but now I can take off how much I need each time making the roll last longer, saving paper and money! -

They do just as good a job as the pricier brands, they're just as strong and there's more in each box than the other more expensive brands as well. My guy's all have allergies and the three of them can go through six boxes of tissues with in a few days! This make's the Great Value brand of tissues just that to me, a great value! -

These are the only garbage bags my husband will use! Yes they are a bit pricey, but they do go on sale often enough that we rarely ever pay full price for them. They're very strong, I can only recall getting a hole in a bag once maybe twice in all the years we've used them and that was only because some put something very sharp into an already over stuffed bag. The red tie's make the bags very easy to close and reopen if needed and easier to take full bags to the road. We now have to use can's in our city, or our garbage won't be picked up. These bags fit our cans so tightly that we don't have to tie them every time they're full. When they pick our trash up, they just dump the can and the trash just falls right out leaving the bag behind. If we don't want to reuse a bag than we'll tie it and the garbage men/women are still easily able to remove the bag from the can when they dump it. This end up allowing us to use one bag a few times if we want too, thus saving us money and keeping plastic out our landfills. -

First off, I’d like to thank the ladies here at ChickAdvisor and Vichy for giving me the opportunity to try out Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep for free. I know some women prefer all of their creams to come in a tube type of a container, but I prefer mine in a jar. My reasoning for this is because I can never tell if I’ve gotten ever little drop of the cream out of a tube. With a jar you can see just how much you’re truly getting for the money you’re spending and you’re assured to use every drop. So I was happy to see this cream not only came in a 50ml jar, but a pretty jar that I don’t mind leaving out for all to see and as a bonus it has mirrored lid. The price of the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep at $52 is a bit on the pricey side for me, compared to what I’d normally pay for a night cream, but it’s with in the price range I’d expect to pay for any Vichy product. This cream seems to have a nice light flowery scent to it that does fade away. The scent is definitely not over powering and once it has absorbed into your skin, the scent dissipates quickly. The cream its self has a thick consistency to it, but you don’t feel like you have something heavy sitting on your face from the time you apply it until you remove it the next morning. I found that it blended very nicely into my skin and I could notice a difference in the look and feel of my skin right away. My skin was dull and dry after washing it and yes I’ve started to get those nasty fine lines, but after applying Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep I could feel my skin soaking up the moisture and I found it made my skin look plumper and dare I say even younger looking. It make’s you feel like you’re doing the right thing for skin. But the best thing about Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep is when morning comes and you look into the mirror and you find a well rested, younger looking you looking back! Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep makes your skin look so nice over night that you just might have to do a double take to be sure you really are looking at the real you the next day! I’ve been using this cream for at least two weeks now and although I love how much healthier my skin is looking in the morning; I must admit that I really haven’t seen my fine lines disappear, not yet away. I’m hoping this will change with more time because I truly do like how it makes my skin feel when I apply it and I love how rested it makes me look the next morning. Do to its price range of $52, I’d have to wait and see if I’m able to achieve better effects before I could recommend Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep everyone, but if it’s within you’re price range, than I’d recommend you give it a try today. -

I’d like to thank the ladies here at ChickAdvisor and Vichy for giving me the extra opportunity to try Vichy’s new Idealia Life Serum for free. Vichy Idealia Life Serum comes in a 30ml pump bottle and sells for $59. You apply this serum in the morning and again at night before you apply your daily moisturizer and your night cream. I haven’t really noticed a scent to this serum, but that maybe do to my allergies that have been acting up. Two pumps will give you more than enough to cover your face and neck area; any more would be too much. I found Vichy Idealia Life Serum to not only spread well, but it also absorbs very quickly with out leaving your face looking shinny or feeling greasy. Since I’ve been using this new serum over the past two weeks I’ve also notice that I don’t need to use near as much of my day cream as I had in the past. It seems to make my day cream spread a lot easier, but if I do apply to much day cream after this serum, it takes forever for my day cream to absorb into my skin. I have to watch what I use on my skin because some products will make me brake out, but after using Vichy Idealia Life Serum for the past two weeks, I haven’t had any trouble with that. Although I really like this serum, I’ve only seen a slight improvement in my fine lines around my eyes, my mouth, and my forehead. I’m hoping after more time goes by I will see more progress, but for now even a slight improvement is better than none at all. I think Vichy Idealia Life Serum is worth a try, but if it’s to pricy for you right now, just watch for sales. I’ve seen it on varying of webs site for a variety of prices. If price is no object to you right now, than I would recommend you give Vichy Idealia Life Serum a try today and watch the changes in the texture of your skin gradually emerge. -

I had always wanted a meat slicer and one day my husband surprised me when he walked in the house with this Cuisinart Meat Slicer. It was exactly what I wanted and it hasn't disappointed me in any way since he bought it for me. This meat slicer has a 7.5 inch stainless steel undulated cutting blade that cuts through meat like its cutting through butter. Its perfect for all my meat cutting needs and you can cut just about anything with it from meat to cheeses and even bread. It has a slide control that adjusts from 1/32 inches to a 1/2 inch, so you cut say a football ham into nice thin slices for sandwiches or into thicker slice for dinner. I love it for cutting pork chops in half that I buy at Costco because they're just too thick for us for everyday meals. So I end up getting twice as many meals out of a package of nine chops. You don't have to worry about getting your hand or your fingers chopped off when you use it because it has a polycarbonate food guide that keeps your finger safely out of the way of the fast spinning blade. It has a heavy duty 130-watt motor, so the blade spins vary quickly making any of your cutting jobs go by fast. When you remove the blade to clean it you have to make sure to replace it properly, other wise it will slip out when it’s turned on and as you can imagine that can be very dangerous! The slicer its self also won't slide across the table as you use it because it has non-slip suction feet that guarantee stability while you're operating the slicer. The blade comes with a cover for safety while it’s being stored and the blade pops on and off easily for cleaning. The guide and the food base are also both easily removed for washing as well. If you find the meat base isn't sliding back and forth smoothly, or seem hard to push and pull back, all you have to do is wipe a touch of veggie oil across the bar and that will help it to slide smoothly. We got ours from Canadian Tire and one of the nicer things about buying it from there is that it has a three year exchange warranty that's redeemable at any Canadian Tire store in Canada. I'm not sure if other stores that sell this particular meat slicer have the same warranty or not, so if you do buy it from another store be sure to ask about that before you purchase yours. If you're interested in buying one for yourself, or as a gift, they're selling on line at Canadian Tire for $139.99 plus tax. I'm not sure if my husband paid the same amount in store, but I'm sure if he did it wasn't much more and it may have even been less. I do know if you buy something from Canadian Tire on line, you can have it shipped to the store and pick it up, but I'm not sure if they also have home delivery. That's something you would have to look into before you purchase anything from them on line. I do know that I love having the convenience of being able to slice anything I want and how thick, or thin I may want it with my Cuisinart Meat Slicer. If you've every wanted one I'm sure you'll love this one as well. -

I wasn't to sure if I'd like these new Ruffles Deep Ridged Bacon & Cheddar loaded Potato Skins chip, but I figured I like bacon and I like cheddar cheese on potato skins, so I tried them. When you first bite into this chip the potato skin flavor hits you, than the bacon and finally the cheddar cheese comes through. I was very surprised at how well each of these flavors combined together to make a great tasting chip. All they need is a little green onion and sour cream and they'd taste pretty close to the baked potato skins that I make. They're a real nice change to the same old Ruffles chips and dip and have a deep addictive flavor to them. Give them a try and let us know if you like them as much as I do. -
