I received a small container of Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser along with the Clarisonic Mia that the Chicks sent me a few months ago and I fell in love with it! From the first time I tried this cleanser it cleansed every bit of dirt, makeup and oil from my face and it never left my face with that awful tight feeling after wards. My skin felt and looked properly cleansed and any and all of the dry dead skin was removed. The best part about the cleanser is how gentile it is despite how deep it cleans. My face was always left feeling soft, not stripped like some other cleansers can make your skin feel. While I was using it along with the Clarisonic Mia to wash my face I noticed the blackheads that I tend to get were a lot less noticeable and even disappearing and I had no acne break outs at all! Unfortunately when the sample that came with my Clarisonic Mia was empty and I tried to buy more at our local Sephora store, I found out that its not sold in Canadian stores as of yet. I've only been able to find it for sale on line at U.S. stores so far. When I asked the girl when they would be getting some in I was told that they don't know when that will be. So for now I'm stuck using what ever cleanser I can find and hope that it works as well as this cleanser does because the price difference along with the shipping cost is just too much for me to pay at this time. I’ve also noticed since I stopped using the Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser that my same old acne and blackhead problem has returned, so I hope it becomes available in stores really soon! If you haven’t tried the Clarisonic Refreshing Gel Cleanser yet and you have the same skin troubles that I suffer from you really have to give it a try. When I do see it for sale in Canadian stores I’ll be sure to let everyone know. -

I was sent a box of Nature`s Path Organic Sunrise Gluten Free Cereal to try and to tell you the truth, I really didn't know what to expect as I haven't tried gluten free products before since I have no need for a gluten free diet. It has a hint of cinnamon flavor that gives it a touch of sweetness witch make it very nice to eat. It also has variety of textures to it such as flacks, puff balls and little crispies that are all crunchy and stay crunchy in milk right down to the last bit. Not once have I found myself in the middle or near the end of a bowl and have mushy bits left to eat. On the Nature's Path web site it says this cereal is made up of, brown rice flour,whole grain corn meal, granulated sugar cane juice, yellow corn flour, flax seeds, buckwheat, sea salt, cinnamon and molasses just to name a few. I was very surprised when I tried this cereal because I never felt like I was missing out on a thing and it was enjoyable from start to finish. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the price of this cereal. It's selling for over $5 a box and you only get 300g's in a box. So it's pricy and it doesn't last very long even with just one person eating it. That being said I'd still buy more of it for myself once in awhile and I would recommend it to others looking for something different. -

I really love this new Lysol antibacterial hand soap with Grapefruit extract for use in our bathroom, but also in my kitchen. It has a wonderful grapefruit scent to it, as you rub your hand together it foams up really nice. Witch allows it to get into,or no to every part of not only yours hand, but your children little hands insuring that everyone gets their hands nice and clean. When you're done washing it also doesn't leave your hands dry feeling, it leaves them feeling clean and soft and it leaves the bathroom smelling of a freshly opened grapefruit. Ever since Gillette came out with the flexiball razor for men I've been wondering when they'd come up with one for us women. This year Gillette surprised us with the new Venus Swirl Flexiball razor just for us gals. I got my flexiball razor and two five blade razors at Wal-Mart and I only paid $9.97 for the set. I’ve seen it in other stores sells ads selling for as much as $14.99 and that’s on sale! So if you're going to try this razor out, I suggest you look around for the best price in your area. The new Venus Swirl is a high-design razor that sets a new standard in shaving. It’s the first and only women’s razor with a rotating flexiball head and five individually adjusting contour blades that help you to shave those hard-to-reach places and capture hairs that other razors might miss. Each blade has water activated moisture glide serum that allows the blade to gently glide over your skin and the handle has an enhanced grip leaving less chance of it slipping from your hand while you shave. I discovered that the Venus five blade razors will also fit onto this new flexiball razor handle, so if you happen to have some Venus blades left when you do buy your new flexiball razor set, you can still use them on this razor getting the same effect. I was very happy with how nicely this razor went over my knees, my ankles and even my underarms and it didn't miss one hair. I didn't get one nick or cut no matter how hard the area was to shave in the past and it left my legs feeling just as soft as could be. I thought they couldn't make a better razor for women than the Venus razor that I love, but I was wrong. In my opinion the new Venus Swirl flexiball razor is the best new women’s razor on the market today and if you haven't tried it yet you really should. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do. -

I received my full size Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche De Beaute in a beauty box that I was buying last year. It's a skin calming rescue treatment that provides you with great hydration. It contains moisturizing ingredients like plant milk and aloe vera sap. It also has a nice orange blossom scent to it that's not over power, but just the right amount to make you dream of spring. The mask gives you 24 hours of intensive relief from our cold winter weather and it leaves your skin with a wonderful glow. All you have to do is apply a generous amount to your face and under your eye contours, than leave it sit for ten minutes with out rubbing it in. When the ten minutes are up just massage what ever hasn't been absorbed deeper into the extreme dehydrated places on your face, or you can remove the unabsorbed amount with a cotton pad and toner. I love to apply it after a shower when my face feels dry and tight or before bed so I wake feeling renewed and fully moisturized. This masque can be used by everyone because it’s suitable for all skin types, how ever it is pretty pricey. A 1.7oz tube is selling for $32 on the Nuxe Paris web site, but you might be able to find it selling for less else where. If you can give it a try I highly recommend you do, I'm sure you'll love this moisturizing mask as much as I do. -

I received a full size sample of Rituals Cosmetics Miracle Scrub in Ginseng & Ginkgo Biloba in beauty box that I was buying last year and am I ever happy that I did receive it. It leaves your dry winter hand feeling soothed and as soft as velvet. If your hands could thank you they definitely would! This miracle hand scrub contains nourishing oils that are absorbed fairly fast into your skin. It brings your hands back to life, restoring your skins elasticity and balance. This scrub is enriched with Ginseng and Ginkgo Biloba and it feels like some type of a sugar that helps to scrub away the old dry flaky skin. All you need is a dine size amount to do the job and you need to shake tube before each use. Since this scrub is very thick you may have difficulty squeezing it out. If this happen you just need to place the tube briefly in warm water and this will solve that problem. Once you have the proper amount in your hand you just gently rub it all over your hands in a small circular motion. You can feel it working its magic as you rub it over your hands and once you are satisfied you have the job done, you just rinse the scrub off of your hands in warm water to remove the sugary substance. This is when you can feel the nourishing oils that are left behind on your hands. At first you might think there's too much oil, but it isn't. You just rub these oils into your hand and they're left renew, revived and feeling as soft as the day you arrived in this world. Best of all this soft feeling lasts and it lasts for a long time. Vichy sent me a free 5 ml size sample of their Vichy LiftActiv Retinol HA Advanced Concentrate about two months ago and I just love it. I could tell the fine lines around my eye's were becoming less noticeable with in a week and I was only using it once a day. I than began applying it around my mouth where we tend to get those laugh lines, that aren't very funny and they also started to fade away. You only need to use a small amount as it spreads very nicely and it absorbed into your skin very quickly. It leaves your skin feeling soft and refreshed, but best of all it works! Unfortunately I stopped using it daily because I didn't want to use up what I had before I could replace it. Once I stopped using it the results faded away just as fast as they appeared. So if you do start using it you should continue to use it so your results don't disappear like mine did. I only use it every once in awhile now because I'm not sure how much it's selling for and to tell you the truth I'm a little afraid to look. I know their products aren't cheap in price, but I have liked most of all of the Vichy products that I have tried in the past, but none as much as I've liked this one. Once I do get the guts up to look up its price I do plan on braking my piggy bank and buying myself more. If price isn't a concern of yours I suggest you give it a try, or if you're like me you can try and get a sample from Vichy like I did. Either way I really think everyone will like it as much as I do. Now I just have to save my pennies and buy myself some more. ;) LOL -

I normally use a solid deodorant so I found the Secret Outlast Clear Gel deodorant to be cold on the skin and I was really surprised at how long it seemed to take to dry. How ever I’ve gotten use to this and because I’m never in a rush, the five minute wait time doesn’t bother me, but I can see where it might trouble others that are in a rush. I love how it dries clear, so there’s none of those nasty white marks left behind on your clothing. I found it to have a nice refreshing sent, not over powering at all and this fresh sent lasted for quite a long time. Now that I’m using the new Secret Outlast Clear Gel and it’s capable of last me 48 hours, I’m able to skip this part of my daily routine making it prefect for me! Even through all the Holiday shopping, baking, cooking and gatherings I went through a few months ago the new Secret Outlast Clear Gel kept me fresh as a daisy and as cool as a cucumber through all of it. I definitely would recommend Secret Outlast Clear Gel to other women whether they work out side their home or not and no matter what their usually routine may consist of. -

I was using the other flat round Tostitos Tortilla chips for a Taco dip recipe that I make, but they kept braking off into the dip. I just happened to see these sitting on the store shelf before the Super Bowl and thought maybe they would work better for this thick dip. Unfortunately I was wrong and they still did brake off into the dip, but they are just as tasty as the flat round ones and once in a while you'd get lucky and the scoop would hold together. When they do stay together they hold a lot of dip in them, witch the guys really liked. I haven't tried them with any other recipe, but I think they would be nice to fill with something yummy and than heat up in the oven. Even though they didn't work out they way I was hoping they would, I'd still recommend them and I will be buying them again. -

After trying it just once I wished I had tried it a lot sooner than I had. This lip balm is made up of simply ingredients, but it works great and it gives your lips a nice fresh soft feel. It's made up of almond oil, honey, beeswax and essential oils, so it has no nasty chemicals in it. It's made with just simple pure ingredients that we can all appreciate. The honey in it tastes great and the almond oil helps to heel and preserve your lips back to they're soft natural state that we all want in these cold windy Canadian winters. You only need a little dab as it spreads very easily and it last a long time, so this small jar goes a long way. If you're interested in trying some Honey Lip Balm out for yourself you can buy a 1/4 oz size jar on they're web site for only $4 U.S. I'm not sure how much the shipping cost to Canada would be, but you can pay with either a credit card, or you can use Pay Pal on the Fresh Blends web site. The web site also says they always have free ground shipping, but it doesn't say if that's only with in the U.S. They have many other hand made products for sell such as their Body Souffle and their Pillow Talk Linen & Room Spray that's available in six different scents. So even if you're not in the market for this Fresh Blends Honey Lip Balm that is wonderful on your lips and tastes great, something else just might catch your eye while you're looking around the web site. -
