Who didn’t want a pony growing up? We all grew out of it, channeling our equine love into our wardrobe—no shoveling of manure necessary—in the form of grown up riding boots, saddle bags or perhaps a deep longing to ride into the sunset with those haute horsey accessories of Hermès.

But perhaps not everyone has stopped pining for ponies? These mane-ish leggings have us worried that soon we’ll see girls galloping down the streets in other looks better left in the barn:

(1)    Whips as belts
(2)    Horse blinders as headpieces
(3)    Horseshoes repurposed as giant pendants

While we’ve suffered through cold days in tights and wished we had something to keep our legs warm, we’re not ready tackle these.

What absurd horse trends could you see catching on?
