10 Best from 2014 Golden Globes

IMO, award shows are usually a total snorefest. I'm not the only who feels this way either. Gwyneth P and hubby Chris Martin agree apparently. I have to say though, this year I kind of enjoyed myself. Tina and Amy were HIGH-larious as per usual, Emma Thompson's martini induced speech was amazing and this may have been one of the best year's fashion-wise. With the exception of JLaw and Dior's very misguided attempts, but more on that later. So, of course, let's get down to the one thing that matters: the red carpet fashion.

I/m giving you my personal picks for the 10 best of the night and want you to weigh in and let me know what you think. Here are my top 10 looks (in no particular order):

10 Best Looks

Lupita Nyong'o  (left): Is it just me or is the stunning Lupita A GODDESS?! I'm honestly in awe of her. How is it possible to have such nice skin? And who looks that stunning in a cape? I can't even. I quit.

Caitlin Fitzgerald (right): I'm actually in LOVE with this dress. It's a bit on the crazy side, I know, but the blue is to die for on her. And I love a sleeved, turtle dress. Plus - dem shoes...

Kate Mara (left): How low can this V go? It's a simple enough dress, but Mara makes it look both sexy and elegant. I'm not usually a fan of champagnes, satin, or off white - but I love this.

Kerry Washington (right): Who knew maternity wear was SO HOT? She's a knockout, all the time, no matter what.

Sarah Paulson (left): 5 year old me would have killed for this dress. It's a like a fairy princess dream come true.

Michelle Dockery (right): As a Downton Abbey fan, I'm alllllll over this. I love the hemline and simple elegance.

Emma Watson: I feel like I'm going to get some hate for this, but I can't help but LOVE this! Girl looks good. She took a risk and she made it to the next level. How impossibly cool is she?

Lily Rabe (left): This dress is everything. I love a belted dress. Super flattering and that beading is incredible.

Emma Roberts (middle): Take note: this is how you do a LBD. It's understated but so classic and gorgeous.

Cate Blanchett (right): AS IF we could include a best list without her. She pulls it off!

Which of these is your favourite?

I agree that Lupita looks beautiful, like how someone should look for the Golden Globes and I dont think anyone else can look so good with a cape.
But if I were to pick a dress that I would want to wear it would be what Emma Watson wore. It's cute, pretty and comfy all at once, which is what I love.

Though it's not on the list, I think Reese Witherspoon also looked amazing, like so much so I was shocked when I saw her, good for her!

I LOVE Lily Rabe's dress, it's beautiful and different. Cate Blanchett is perfect as usual. Yes the Martin-Paltrows look completely bored don't they?

Lupita looks phenomenal. That dress was made for her. The colour, the style - it all fits. I'm always impressed at how beautiful she looks though. Kerry Washington looks soo adorable!

Michelle Dockery is my favourite, that dress is gorgeous. I love Cate Blanchett's as well, but I'm not loving Caitlin Fitzgerald's. The colour is really pretty, but the dress itself looks like someone threw drapes on her and called it a day.

Lupita looks incredible! I think this might be my favourite look. It's edgy with the cape, of course, but she pulls it off so well.

I have a love/hate thing with Emma Watson's pant-dress. It sure looks comfy, the silhouette is flattering, the colour suits her so well, and I love the back... until we see the pants!! Also, those SHOES. I love that she went with such a different tone.
