How to Get the Bond Girl Look

Posted by Alexandra C. | Wednesday November 14, 20129 comments

With the newest release of the Bond empire in theatres now, Mr. 'shaken, not stirred' seems to be on everyone's minds. Except, well, mine. Here's a secret: I saw my very first ever Bond film just last weekend and here's another secret: I could take or leave Bond. The gadgets, gizmos and action do nothing for me. The Bond Girl beauty on the other hand, now that's my cup of tea.

I was struck by how the latest Bond lady had on trend oxblood lips and dramatic smoky eyes. Which got me thinking about all the other Bond Girls and their iconic looks. So, here are five of my favourite ladies throughout the ages and a few products that you can use to get the same look!

Honey Ryder, "Dr. No" (1962)

I actually can find a place for all of these looks. Each one has a beauty that can transcend well onto every possible complexion, only if done right with the right amount of intensity!
Great job finding the matches to these looks. It's also awesome that you included both designer brands and drugstore brands for methods to achieve this look.
Greatly appreciated!

I love how you broke down the makeup for us! I think out of all of them my fav has to be the 2012 look. The others are gorgeous too but this one really stands out as a 'bond girl' look.

I do like the oxblood lips smokey eye combination. I am a fan of Bond simply for the awesome cars.
