Try This Thursday: Nexcare Acne Patches

Ladies, I have a new, weird obsession and I need to share it with you.

So, this new Asian beauty supply store opened up near CA HQ and I decided that it was necessary to go on a bit of a rampage and spend all my money there.

Among the goodies I purchased, was a mysterious package in another language. I assumed it had something to do with acne treatment. To be honest, I had no clue what it was, I couldn't read anything on the cover. BUT, it did have a cute little anime picture on it and I had faith in that. So for about $7, I put that box in my pocket.

When I got home, I did a bit of googling and found out that I had stumbled upon a gem! Nexcare Acne Absorbing Covers work to cover blemishes and to speedily absorb all the oil and general ickiness that make them a bumpy blemish.

It's a little, round patch, sticky on one side that creates a barrier when you place it on the pimple. It just sucks up all the innerds of the pimple (gross, I know, I apologize), while not drying it out. It's best to use this at night, on clean skin. On lazy days at home with no makeup on, I don't mind popping one of these on my face either. Having combination skin, I love spot treatments because they don't overly dry out my sensitive, already parched skin, they just work on the bits that need it. Another thing I love about these patches? They help me resist the urge to touch! Touching my face is one of my biggest beauty faux pas and these are helping me to kick the habit. They take about two nights, or two sessions to work effectively, but on those really nasty red bumps, or larger white heads, they're the exact thing you need. You can find them online here.

So chicks, I HIGHLY recommend picking these up. I'm digging them and they're excellent to have on hand for any emergency zit you might get. Have you ever heard of these? Would you use them? Do you have any current beauty obsession (strange or otherwise)?
