I received a nice size jar of Kensico’s Synergy hand cream in their Citrus Blend for free to try out and I am in love with it! Not only does this citrus hand cream smell incredible it works beautifully. This Synergy hand cream leaves your hands and elbows soft and smooth like the day you were brought into this world. It is perfumed with their signature scents and are enriched with shea butter, sunflower oil, vitamin E and aloe all witch will make you feel like you are not only pampering your skin, but that you are also nourishing and hydrating your skin. All this while the citrus scent makes you close your eye’s and melt into a dream state of citrus tree’s and ocean breezes. It's the prefect Hand cream for those long winter months we have here in Canada and I can’t wait to order more. You can buy a 4oz tube for $12, a 8oz jar for $20 and a 16oz jar for $36. If Citrus isn’t the scent for you, they also make their hand creams in Grapefruit Buzz, In Bloom, In The Buff, My Blue Heaven, Take Five and in I heart Lavender. You can find a complete list of ingredients that they use on their web site along with the other products that they make, such as bath bombs, bar soaps and other bath accessories. I realize their prices are quite high for some people, but if you do get a chance to pamper yourself I highly recommend that you give Kensico Synergy Citrus Blend hand cream a try. -

I’m sorry but I couldn’t find a picture or a web site for this Quo Sheer Kiss Lipstick. I received my Quo Sheer Kiss Lipstick for free, along with some other nice gifts from the chicks at ChickAdvisor as part of my prize for doing a review of the week. I tried and tried to find it on line so you could read about it yourselves, but it was no where to be found. As far as I know it is only sold at Shopper Drug Mart, but they don’t even have it on their web site. I was able to find it in Shoppers, so if you are interested in taking a look you can find it in store along with all of the other Quo products they sell. It comes in a skinny blue tube, you can’t mistake it because it’s the only one like it displayed along with the Quo line. The shade I received looks like an orangey pink, but to me it looks more like a light pink when it’s on. It wears well and it doesn’t give you that dried out feeling that some lipsticks can after being on for awhile. I’m really enjoying it and think you will too. If I’m remembering correctly it is available in six to eight different shades, so you’re sure to find one that you’ll like. I can’t say how much it will run you because I just can't recall what the price tag said they wanted for it. I believe it wasn’t that much more then any other brand that Shopper’s carries, but I can’t say for sure what it was. If you’re interested In the Quo Sheer Kiss Lipstick you’d have to go to Shopper’s Drug Mart and check out the Quo section to find out what it really sales for and to see if they have a shade for you. -

I received my Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub for free from the chicks here at ChickAdvisor as part of my prize for winning a review of the week. It came just in time to save my poor legs for the summer shorts season! I was having one heck of a time with my legs all winter long, they were dried out so badly that I was doing nothing but scratching them like I had bugs. I was also getting a lot of ingrown hairs over the winter and early spring months and I’m not sure why. It wasn’t something that I had ever gotten in the past and the only thing I can think of that may have caused this was me changing razors types. Any how like I said the Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub showed up just in time to save my poor legs. This scrub a light fruity scent to it and is a clay-based formula that includes polished pumice, fig seed powder and little vitamin balls. It’s a nice way to remove all the little rough spots we all get and it sure did help my poor dried out legs. You can use it all over your body, but I mainly just use it on my legs especially after I’ve shaved. It gives them a nice smooth polished look and feel that we all want to have when we’re showing off our legs during the summer months, but its wonderful anytime of the year. You can see a feel the little polishing balls as you work this scrub around your body and it feels just as nice as it smells. I really enjoy using my Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub and my poor damaged legs have defiantly thanked me for using it. I don’t get near as dried out as I use to and all the ingrown hair problems I was having have disappeared, hopefully for good! If you’d like to give it a try you can buy your own 8.4 oz Soap & Glory Pulp Friction Foamy Fruity Body Scrub on line at sephora.com for $20. I just know if you try it once you love it as much as I do! -

I received my Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Gel Eyeliner for free from the chick’s here at ChickAdvisor as part of my prize for winning a review of the week. I was very excited to give this eyeliner a try because I hadn’t tried a gel liner before even though I had always wanted to. When it would come time to buy a new liner I always seemed to chicken out because I just wasn’t sure if I’d care for the gel liners, or if I’d be able to get the look that I wanted from them. This eyeliner has a little brush that is hidden inside part of the handle. After you open the top you then can attach the brush to the other end and then just dip it into the gel and start. This integrated brush applicator allows you to build thin or thick lines. I’ve never seen a liner like this, but I also haven’t tried many liners so it may not be anything new to most of you. It’s available in three shades, Black, Aubergine, and Deep Blue and sells for around $7.47 at Wal-Mart. Unfortunately this gel liner just wasn’t for me. It went on easily enough, but it just wouldn’t dry fast enough for me. I have hooded eye’s and because this liner took what seemed like forever to dry it sure wouldn’t stay where I put it. After lining the top of my lashes on one eye I moved to the next, but by the time I was done the other eye the liner on the first eye wasn’t where I had left it. It had bled all over the tops of my eyelids and it even bled below the bottom of my lashes making me look like I had been punched in the eye. The more I tried to fix this the worse things got for me. After having to clean my whole face and start over again I though I’d give it another try the next day. Well the same thing happened no matter how long I tried to let the first eye dry for before moving on to the next. From my experience with the Rimmel London Scandleye’s Waterproof Gel Eyeliner I would tell you to definitely stay away from it if you have hooded eye like I have. You’ll just end up with a big mess like I had and won’t be too happy about spending your money on something you can’t use. How ever if you don’t have hooded eyes and don’t mind waiting awhile for your liner to dry, then I’d tell you to give it a try. -

I received my Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths for free to try from the ladies here at ChickAdvisor, thanks ladies. Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths are pre-moistened wipes that can help give you and your whole family a thorough cleaning and help make you feel fresher. These wipes are flushable and they will break up after you flush them, so they aren’t supposed to harm your sewer and for those that may have a septic system, they also say they are septic system safe. There’s no alcohol in, or on them so they aren’t supposed to burn you when you use them, although my son said they burned his buttom. They don’t contain oils, or any kind of soap, but they do contain mild skin cleansers and emollients. You can buy Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths in a 42 count pop-up tub and a 42 count upright dispensing tub; refills can also be bought in several didfrent count sizes from a 42 count all the way to four resealable refill packages at one time with a total count of 168. You can also buy Cottonelle Cleansing cloths for when you’re on the go in a portable soft 10 count package, 10 count hard pack and a 33 count reclossable pouch. These cloths are to be used along side of your toilet paper and are nice to have on hand when traveling to clean hands, faces and even give your dog a quick once over before they jump back into your car with dirty feet. They’re great to bring along with you when you have to visit an out house, just in case you get in there and find out after its to late that there’s no toilet paper to be found. I think these would be a great addition to a family home that has little ones, or a phisicaly challenged preson living in their home, but they just weren't for us. So for that reason I won’t be buy more of them for us, but I would recommend them to certen others. -

I received my Oral-B CrossAction Pro-health Toothbrush from the ladies here at ChickAdvisor, thank you ladies.
On the Oral-B web page they tell us that the cross action bristles on the Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush can remove up to 99% of plaque in hard to reach places. Witch we all know if we don’t take care to remove this from our teeth it can lead to plaque build up witch then can cause cavities, germs, bad breath, tooth decay, high Dental bills, and worse, loss of our teeth! Tight spaces around and between our teeth is the easiest place for this to happen, but also the hardest place for us to keep clean with a toothbrush that only has straight bristles. The Oral-B CrossAction Toothbrushes bristles are placed at the prefect angle at 16 degrees witch helps us reach all of our teeth and the all of the hard to reach places we have in our mouths. On top of that this toothbrush also has a textured tongue cleaner on the back of the brush that helps us to remove germs from our tongues thus helping our breath to stay fresher for longer. The crisscrossing bristles are positioned in opposing directions allowing them to flex and then straighten back out. This lets them penetrate between your teeth and along your gum line easier and giving you a much better clean then a straight angled bristle brush ever could. It also has what the makers of this Oral-B toothbrush call, (Soft gum stimulators) witch are along both sides of the brush head to message your gums. The tip of this toothbrush has extra long bristles that are meant to help you clean between your teeth as well as the hard to reach back teeth. This Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush is available in two brush head sizes 35 and a 40 and you can get it in soft bristles or medium bristles. It comes in four colors, Sapphire, Topaz, Ruby, and Titanium. When I first tried out the Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health Toothbrush I didn’t care for the crisscrossing bristles that are located along the sides of this brush. They felt very strange to me, but after a few brushings I have gotten use to it and this no longer bother’s me. The handle is larger around then the old straight bristle brushes are witch I felt made it easier to hold onto, but because it is so much bigger around it does not fit into the toothbrush holder that we have. If you buy one keep this in mind because you may have to store it in some other location, or buy a new holder that has bigger holes. The brush I was given to try out was a soft bristle brush witch I normally use, how ever I found this one to be a bit too soft for my liking. The larger bristles that are located on the tips definitely can reach the back of my mouth with very little movement needed. Over all I found this brush did work very well although it did take a few days to get use too. I normally use an electric toothbrush and have for a few years now, witch I still feels gives me a better cleaning then any manual toothbrush can. How ever if you are looking for a new manual toothbrush, than I would definitely recommend you give the Oral-B Crossaction Pro-Health Toothbrush a try.

I received my Crest Pro-Health Multi Protection Rinse from the ladies here at ChickAdvisor, thank you ladies.
The Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse is just one of many rinses that Crest has come out with over the last few years. This rinse is available in a Refreshing Cool Mint that I really enjoy because it doesn’t burn like those old fashion mouth washes we had when we were kids. You can buy it in a 500ml and a one litre size. I’m not sure how much the 500ml sells for, but I do know you can buy a one litre bottle for $6.46 at walmart.ca. This rinse is supposed to give us 12 hours of protection to help us prevent and reduce plaque build up, prevent and reduce gingivitis, fight our bad breath, keep our teeth cleaner for longer, kill germs and all with avoiding the burn of alcohol because there is no alcohol in it. I would how ever advise anyone that is thinking about trying this rinse out to make sure you read the back of the bottle of this Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse before you try it. Not many people are aware of this, but it can turn some people’s teeth brown and it does state this on the back of the bottle. This is not something that any of us wants to happen, especially when we are thinking we are doing something good for our teeth, gums, and mouth. Since I started using it I haven’t had this happen to me and I’m hoping that it doesn’t. I have how ever experienced some peeling of the insides of my cheeks. Now this has happened to me in the past, but it was only when I was using a whitening rinse, not a rinse like the Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse. My Dentist had told me at the time that this was caused from some ingredient that was used in some of these whitening rinses. Unfortunately I can’t recall what that was, so I can’t say if it’s in this rinse as well. Although I don’t know why an ingredient like that would be added to this rinse because as you may, or may not know this IS NOT a whitening rinse and shouldn’t be used as one. I liked the Crest Pro-Health Multi-Protection Rinse, other then the peeling that I have experienced and the possibility of my teeth turning brown I found it worked well. So as long as the peeling doesn’t become to bother some and my teeth stay white I will continue to use it and would recommend it.

I received my Crest Pro-Health Pro-Fresh Toothpaste from the ladies here at ChickAdvisor, thank you ladies.
The makers of the Crest Pro-Health Pro-Fresh Toothpaste tell us that this toothpaste fights bad breath for hours how ever as far as I’m concerned this will all depend on the person, what that person has eaten after brushing and whether or not that person is a smoker like me. I know sham on me. This Crest Pro-Health toothpaste is available at most Drug stores, Wal-Mart and any store that regularly sell tooth care products. You can buy the Crest Pro-Health Pro-Fresh Toothpaste in 20ml and 85ml sizes in their Cool Peppermint flavour. Crest Pro-Health Pro-Fresh toothpaste uses a polyfluorite system consisting of therapeutic antibacterial fluoride and ActiveClean Crystals for cleaning your teeth and mouth. I wasn’t to sure if I’d like the peppermint flavour because I wasn’t sure if it would be mild enough for my taste. To my surprise I found that it was mild enough for me witch in turn made the experience of this trial even more enjoyable to for me. The first time I tried it I thought I had placed enough on the toothbrush, but it didn’t feel like I had after I had started brushing my teeth. So the next time I added even more to the brush to see if this would make any difference witch it did. How ever I don’t think we should need to fill our toothbrushes with that much toothpaste to get the effect we’re looking for when any Dentist will tell you all that is really need is a pea size amount. Most of us how ever tend to fill our whole brush from beginning to end with toothpaste myself included. This toothpaste also tells us that it can help with tooth sensitivity. I was a Crest Pro toothpaste user until my teeth started to become sensitive and I have had a hard time finding any brand of sensitivity toothpaste that will not only work on my teeth, but that will keep working on them since this became a problem for me. So I am always concerned about trying any new toothpaste out because of my sensitive issues. There for I need toothpaste that can help me out with this and that will continue to work. It took a few days for this part of this toothpaste to take effect on the sensitivity that I have been experiencing and I was worried this would become a problem. How ever it did being to help me after I used it for a few more days and I’m hoping this will continue to be the case. Over all I would recommend the new Crest Pro-Health Pro-Fresh toothpaste and if you do have sensitive teeth I’d tell you to give it a few days to work before you give up on it.

JayneGirl Bath & Body works is located in Salmon Arm British Columbia and her products are all handcrafted and made in small batches using vegetable oils, nuts, seed butters, pure essential oils, herbs, and other natural ingredients. I was sent what she calls a Orange Exspearmint bar of soap from JayneGirl to try out for free, but if you are interested in trying out some of her bar soaps they sell for around $5 each on her wed site. She make’s all of her soaps from scratch in small batches and has twenty different soaps for you to choose from. My Orange Exspearmint soap smelled like a lovely mixture of oranges and spearmint that was just as refreshing as she claimed it would be. How ever I didn’t care for this soap. It smelled wonderful, but it was like using sandpaper on my skin. It was way to rough for me and the only thing I could see that was causing this was the spearmint leaf she used in it. You can see the bits of leafs through out the bar of soap. I’m sure they are there to help exfoliate your skin, but the bar I received had way to much in it for me and I had to stop using it after only one use. If you’d like to try some of her other soaps, I’d recommend you try one that doesn’t have an ingredient like the leaves that are in the soap I received. -

I received a nice size sample of O’Keeffe’s Working Hands for free to try out, but you can buy a 3.4 oz tin for $7.99 from their web site. O’Keeffe’s Working Hands is a unique formulation of moisturizing ingredients to improve dry skin. If your husband or boy friend has a job that causes his hands to become extremely dry and rough, then O’Keeffe’s Working Hands is the product that they need! How ever you can use it on you’re dried out hands as well. It was made for people that are working in all sorts of industries from ranchers to contractors, gardeners to nurses. Even new mother’s will tell you how dried out their hands have become after they had their babies, do to washing their hand three time as often as they did before their little one came along. O’Keeffe’s Working Hands is a unique formulation of moisturizing ingredients that helps improve dry skin. It is a highly concentration of Glycerin that draws in and retains moisture. My husband has a job that dries his hands out so badly that I hated it when he would touch me and this made me sad. I’ve tried several different products on his hand and nothing was working, that is until now. When I received my O’Keeffe’s Working Hands I made him try it right away. He complained a bit thinking it was just going to make his hands greasy and give him no relief at all. How ever once he started applying O’Keeffe’s Working Hands to his rough dry hands he wanted more. He ended up liking it so much that every time I looked at him he was applying more to his hands. By the end of one week his rough dried out hand actually were starting to look and feel more like the hands I remember him having 27 years ago when we were, well lets just say a lot younger then we are now. LOL O’Keeffe’s Working Hands will not only improve dry hands, but you might even fine that once those rough dry hands have been heeled and are soft to the touch again, that you’ll want to hold your honey’s hand like you use to do before the damage was done. -
