New Sexy Workouts

As the title, “XXX Power Strip” suggests, this isn’t your average fitness dance class. Step aside, salsa: there’s a new dance in town – and it’s stripping everything off.

Kat O., the outgoing and energetic instructor who teaches this Flirty Girl Fitness class in Toronto, describes the class as an opportunity to feel sexy in a safe environment where you can have fun and explore your body in a new way (at least, we’re hoping you don’t grab the ‘ladies’ during spin class).

 
This one hour class provides the 411 on stripper moves. Hair flips and Pinwheel legs? Check. As Kat says, “When else can a high profile lawyer play a stripper for a night?”

The liberating nature of such classes has created a boom in sensual fitness. More than just exercise, you’re stripping away insecurities and gaining respect for your own ability to radiate sexiness. Kat says that while at first most women are shy, by the end they’re hooting, hollering and grabbing their girls like Demi Moore in Striptease. After a 1-hour class, I can say it’s all true!


Zumba (Latin-inspired fitness class) is another fitness-with-a-sexy-twist option, along with the vertically challenging Pole Dancing and Socasize (a Caribbean-style sassy workout).

Get fit, have a laugh, and feel sexy at the same time? Seems like a pretty compelling reason to give up the treadmill and pick up the boa.

I love Flirty Girl Fitness. My friend and I went to the pole dancing class and had a blast. We are planning to do this regularly next year. I really can't wait!!!
