How to Create the Perfect Bath

Posted by Tasha | Tuesday August 16, 20113 comments
Is there anything better than a bubble bath? I’m talking about a long, hot soaking dip in the tub. Neither the warmth of the cosiest blanket, nor a hot cup of the freshest coffee can compare to the luxury of an evening bath. Turn on Adele or a little Ellie Goulding to unwind and try one of these bath time beauties.

1. The ultimate bath experience isn’t complete without your favourite playlist. So it’s time to upgrade that dingy shower radio to a Bose SoundDock Portable Digital Music System (C$399.95)

2. Bath and Body Works Paris Amour bubble bath (C$12.50) has hints of mandarin, strawberry, peach, vanilla and sandalwood to let you slip into the fantasy of a stroll through Paris at night.

3. Turn the lights down low and light a Slatkin & Co Pumpkin Caramel Latte candle (C$12.50). This warm, spicy scent reminds us of fall, and sweets making it a treat for your senses.

1. While you’re in the tub, why not do a little good for your hair. Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque (C$28.00). Your hair will thank you for the extra TLC provided by the macadamia, argan and tea tree oils.

2. Sip a mug of tea while you soak. A little Cherry Poison from David’s Tea (C$9.50/50g) is the perfect way to cleanse yourself inside and out. The cherries are packed with antioxidants.

3. Cozy up with your favourite book in the bathtub and let your mind wander to a different life. Keep your book above water with the Umbra Aquala Bamboo and Chrome Bathtub Caddy (C$55.00). May we recommend The Hunger Games

6. Drop a Lush Dreamtime bath melt (C$5.95) into your tub and relax as the sandalwood helps drift off to lalaland.

It’s time to let your hair down and relax. How do you unwind after a long day?

I have had a book caddy before- don't worry @TammyK it won't fall in the water.

A good bath is the best thing when you are feeling run down!

The book caddy thing...it's a cool idea but I feel like my book will fall in the water for sure.
