Thursday March 13, 2008 by Ali

Once again, a man is caught with his pants down. And once again, all eyes are on the woman. And we're not talking about "the other woman". We are scrutinizing the scorned wife. Why is she standing by him? Doesn't she have any self-respect? What will she do? Obviously we are talking about the recent prostitution debaucle involving disgraced former...

This is so horrible I don't even know what to say.

Shame on You, NYMag

Saturday December 8, 2007 by Ali

LOL!

We've always been fans of Nymag.com until now. They've come out with a new show in their fashion look book section that is pretty much exactly the same as our show but the fashionistas are questionably dressed transvestites.

Forgive us, but who is this fashion advice supposed to be for exactly? Normally we'd say who cares? Fashion is fashion, but this... only Tootsie could...

Saturday November 17, 2007 by Claire

By now, you must have noticed that we're coming up on one of the year's biggest shopping days - Black Friday! Betcha didn't know it's also "Buy Nothing Day"?

This year marks the 15th anniversary of a day designated by artist and environmentalist Ted Dave of Vancouver, BC (Canada) for evaluating our consumer culture. Social activists around the world mark this day with kooky but...

Ho! Ho! ... No?

Thursday November 15, 2007 by Ali

Should we be offended by Santa's trademark chuckle?

What do you guys think? Is this change justified or just plain silly?

Can a "Chick" be a Feminist?

Thursday October 25, 2007 by Ali

Every now and then we'll come across something like this:

"Wow, I don't think I've ever found a more stereotypical site. One giant step backwards for feminism..."

Being talked about is a good thing, even in light of a comment like that so we're hardly offended.

But seriously.

Why are we so easily offended when it comes to:
