While a signature scent is nice to have, I'm more of a 'scent switching' kind of girl.  I like to match my outfit to my mood; my clothing and makeup choices depend on how I am feeling that day. So why shouldn't it be the same with my fragrance? I like the idea of going with a complete look and feel with my outfit, makeup and scent. If I wake up feeling rather creative one day, I make sure to put on my favourite colourful clothes and choose a spicy, interesting scent. It just makes everything feel more put together. 

This fall, with all the anticipated fragrances being released (i.e. Lady Gaga!), I think I'm definitely going to be testing and trying out a few new perfumes and maybe even finding some new faves. For when you're feeling...Sexy but Sweet

I know what you're thinking, 'Playboy? Really? Like....really?!' and I totally get it. That's what I first thought too. But this floral scent has grown on me. With musk, orange flower sorbet and peony notes, it's the right amount of spicy and sweet. And the bottle is unexpectedly adorable, no? 

Wear it with: a floral dress with a suggestive neckline to show off some skin but still keep it lady like!

The Lady Gaga perfume is black. Seriously cool. This fragrance boasts ingredients like: 'Tears of Belladonna' and 'Crushed Heart of Tiger Orchidea'. No, I'm not joking. Add in the fact that the bottle looks a bit like an alien pod and clearly this one isn't for a wallflfower.

At first smell, Closer by Halle Berry is almost unisex with it's notes of mahogany wood but it has a very clear feminine side with notes of wild raspberry and violet flowers. I like that this fragrance could be worn day or night and has a mature side appropriate for the office. 

Wear it with: a flattering dress and a vintage inspired handbag.

You know those days when you get up and nothing seems to be slowing you down? Your hair looks miraculously gorge, your skin is looking bright and clear and you actually have (for the first time, in a long time) clean clothes on? I think this is the fragrance you wear when that happens. It's light and fruity and juicy. I like to imagine I've just returned from picking strawberries and rolling around in rose petals when I wear it.
