I like the Ashland brand sand from Michaels, as it's courser then some of the other brands out there and looks more like natural sand. It's great to fill bottles partway and then add a few pebbles, shells and seaglass that I have found on my beachcombing adventures.

Such a pretty use for decor. You can fill a glass vase and more with sand to make your house more pretty, put it as a table piece or use it in your room or any where else in the house that may like. Also I used this in a necklace with a cork bottle.
