Amazing sunscreen

This is such a great product, I didn't find it too greasy like some other sunscreens. It went into the skin well without leaving a film look over the skin.

Good healthier alternative product

This product works well. I have very fair skin and it provided good coverage. It applied nicely and had a good lasting effect. It did not feel pasty like some sunscreens. Will continue to use this product.

Great sunscreen

I loved using this sunscreen as it is SPF 50 and made with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide! This means it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals. The packaging is also easy to use and apply. Since this is a mineral sunscreen which applied white on my skin, it did take a while to blend in. Regardless, I was happy that I was protected for 80 mins before having to reapply!

Recommended for Sensitive Skin

A sunscreen that is great for sensitive skin— no harsh chemicals and irritants! It takes a while to absorb in the skin but once it does, there’s no whitecast. Love the ingredients on this one!

I am happy with this product!

I am happy with my experience using Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen for sensitive skin. As someone who suffers from eczema and keratosis pilaris, my skin can be very sensitive. This sunscreen provided sun protection without any fragrences or harsh chemicals, leaving my skin happy and protected on my daily walks! It goes on easily, absorbs well and doesnt leave the white cast that some other sunscreens leave behind. I will continue to use this sunscreen!

Smooth and Effective!

I really enjoy this sunscreen! I has very little scent, melts nicely on your skin, doesn't leave you feeling greasy, and my husband appreciated that it doesn't get all bunched up in his body hair. It does leave a slight white cast if you lay it on heavy. We tested it on our face as well and are happy to report that after long wear neither of us experience teary or stinging eyes! The bottle is really cool too as the cap goes from clear to blue when exposed to enough UV, and this acts as your indicator to put some on! The only thing I'm not 100% on board with are the ingredients. I try and avoid Aluminum Salts and Butyloctyl Salicylate, but in small doses the risks are pretty mild.

Balanced with Pros and Cons

If you've got sensitive skin and need serious sun protection, this is a solid winner. But like most mineral sunscreens, expect a white cast. It's not the worst I've seen, while it eventually fades somewhat, it won't disappear completely. Great for beach days or extended outdoor activities where strong protection is paramount.

Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen for Sensitive Skin!

Great sunscreen that absorbs quickly and doesn't feel very oily on your skin afterwards. Although my skin is very sensitive to different things, this is the few sunscreens I have tried that works great on my skin. One downside is that it is a bit thin and needs to be reapplied after a few hours.

Was wonderful for my KP skin

It felt super nice on my skin! The only reason it doesn't have five stars is because it did take about 15 minutes for it to not be tacky anymore. I love that is reef friendly (always looking for that in my sunscreen). But most of all it didn't break me out, dry me out or leave me oily. The other sunscreens and sunscreen moistened duos i've used make my skin super oily in some places and super dry along my scalp. I have keratosis psoriasis on my arms and sunscreen tends to irritate my skin, luckily this sunscreen did not do that and also didn't leave my skin feeling dry which is also super important for the KP skin girlies out there. Definitely gonna be my go to summer sunscreen this year 🤩

Great Protection for Sensitive Skin

I recently tried this sunscreen, and overall, I'm really happy with it. I have sensitive skin that reacts to a lot of chemical sunscreens, so I was looking for something mineral-based, and this one did not disappoint. The formula is gentle, no stinging, no breakouts, and no weird fragrance. It goes on a bit thick at first and does leave a slight white cast when you apply it, but with a bit of rubbing, it blends in pretty well (especially compared to other mineral sunscreens I've tried). It feels a bit creamy at first but settles nicely without feeling greasy. What I really liked was how well it held up outdoors, I wore it on a sunny day for a long walk and didn't get burnt at all. It's water-resistant too, which is great for beach days or sweaty workouts. The UV-activated cap is a cool touch, it changes color in sunlight to remind you to reapply, which is actually super handy. Only downside is that it takes a bit longer to rub in, and if you have darker skin, you might notice a bit more of that white tint. But the peace of mind I get from knowing it's safe for sensitive skin and reef-safe makes it worth it. Would definitely buy again, especially for summer or travel!
