Easy to apply

I find that this spreads well, skin feels soft after and no skin reactions. There's no scent to it which I like. Just used it while outside for 3 hours under the sun midday and it worked well

Definitely water resistant

This is my first time trying this sunscreen. I don’t tend to gravitate towards mineral sunscreens, but this one applied quite nicely. I liked the thinner consistency, but it was sometimes patchy in application. It stayed very well during my runs, but it did collect in the crease of my arm. This sunscreen is definitely water resistant. Even after dripping sweat from my run and washing in the shower, I still felt like there was some sunscreen left on my skin. It felt like a slight residue, and I could still smell the sunscreen if I smelled my arms. I don’t love the smell, but I normally don’t find mineral sunscreens to smell that nice. Overall, I do think this is a good sunscreen, and it will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Hawaii (in consideration of it being reef safe).

Love the product

I found the product worked and loved it on my skin, but I did find it didn’t blend perfectly on me and especially on my daughter with darker skin tone.

Great for any occasion

I really liked the texture of this sunscreen. It didn't feel heavy or greasy on the skin. I'm happy that this is free from any harsh chemicals and is great to use for any occasion. I enjoyed that it was free from fragrance and also made for sensitive skin. It wore well throughout the day and I was happy it blended into the skin without leaving a whitecast.

Average no smell sunscreen

I've been using the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen for a week now, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I have sensitive skin that usually doesn't get along with sunscreens, but this one hasn't caused any redness or irritation. It goes on a little thick and does leave a bit of a white cast at first, but after a few minutes it blends in better. I've been wearing it daily, even on a few long walks in the sun, and it held up almost, there was no burns, no stinging eyes, and no weird smell. It's not greasy, which I like, and it doesn't feel heavy once it settles in. It's not perfect, but it's gentle, protective, and dependable. For sensitive skin looking for solid sun protection, this is definitely worth checking out.

a bit oily

I think it held very well on my skin during my running workout but I felt it a bit oily. You just need a pea-sized amount and you're covered, if you apply more than that you're going to be all white.

Gentle, Reliable, and Surprisingly Light

I’ve been using Blue Lizard Sensitive and overall, I’m really happy with it—especially for long outdoor days. Here’s what stood out to me:
1. Excellent sun protection - This sunscreen absolutely does its job. Even after hours in the sun, I didn’t get burned. It’s broad-spectrum and water-resistant, and best of all safe for reefs, so a must-have for your next tropical vacation.
2. Good for sensitive skin – I’ll reach for this every time I need sunscreen for my kids, who have eczema.
3. Goes on thick and white, but that fades - At first, it goes on super white and thick, which honestly made me nervous. But within about 30 seconds to a minute, that whiteness fades significantly. It blends in nicely after you rub it in, especially if you’re not applying too much at once.
4. Looks greasy at first, but absorbs quickly - The finish starts out a bit shiny and greasy-looking, but it absorbs really well—within about two minutes, it leaves a natural finish without any stickiness or shine. I actually liked how it gave a bit of a glow before it settled. And by the time I’m ready to head out the door, I don’t even feel it at all. I’ve used other mineral sunscreens that feel heavy or mask-like, but this one wears comfortably, even on my face.

If you’re looking for a reliable mineral sunscreen that’s safe for sensitive skin, Blue Lizard Sensitive is an excellent choice. It protects well, feels good on the skin, and improves in appearance after the first couple of minutes. Great for families, outdoor use, or anyone wanting non-chemical UV filters that still feel nice to wear.

Works well but it takes long to absorb

I am always interested in trying out sunscreen, especially as I am getting older and I am looking to protect my skin more! I found the smell of the sunscreen to not be too overpowering and the sunscreen did not seen to be too thick like some products are. When it came to applying the sunscreen, I had a bit of trouble as it was quite difficult to absorb into the skin, as well as there was a bit of the white film left. I found that if I mixed the sunscreen with my moisturizer it was easier to absorb! Overall I found that it kept me protected from the sun, and I was outside in pretty strong sun multiple days in a row when I was trying the product. Worth a try if you are okay to spend a bit more time allowing the product to absorb into the skin!

Ready for the sun!!

A great mineral sunscreen for anyone looking for a effective sun protection ! It was really gentle on my skin just need to to rub it in properly. It really protected me from the sun for the indicated time.

Non stick

The product is white, cream type but did not give off any white cast. The product is non stick and light weight. I did not have any allergic reaction with the product.
