Finally, a Sunscreen That Gets It Right!
I've been on the hunt for a sunscreen that doesn't feel like a greasy mask, and this one absolutely delivers. The first thing I noticed was how quickly it absorbed into my skin – no endless rubbing, no white cast, just a smooth, almost invisible finish. Even better, there's practically no oily residue left behind, which is a huge win for someone with combination skin. And the scent? Virtually non-existent, or at least very mild and pleasant, unlike some sunscreens that smell like a chemistry experiment. Highly recommend!

Mineral sunscreen

Easy to apply on skin. No strong scent. Light weight. If spread properly, no white cast. Sweat proof so great for on the go or workout. Unfortunately not small enough to travel with.

Gentle but strong sun protection!

I have sensitive skin, so I'm always cautious with sunscreens-but blue lizard sensitive SPF 50 really surprised me in a good way. It did not sting or cause any redness, and I love that it has organic aloe in it. It actually feels calming when I put it on, specially, after being in the sun..
The texture is on the thicker side, but I didn't mind it since it made my skin feel protected. There's a bit of white cast at first, but it fades pretty quickly once I rub it in. I also really appreciate that it's fragrance free.-nothing overpowering or irritating.
Overall, it's a solid sunscreen I feel good about using on my face and neck every day. Great for sensitive skin and peace of mind in the sun..

Hydrating sunscreen

It takes a few minutes for the product to absorb to my skin. At first it looks like there would definitely be white cast, but when it completely sinks into skin, it looks and feels matching to my skin tone. It is hydrating but not sticky. I also love that it has no scent and does not sting my eyes.

Good and effective!

I brought the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50 with me on my trip to the Canadian Rockies and it worked great. I was out in the sun a lot and didn’t get burnt at all. It goes on a bit thick, but it didn’t bother my skin and stayed put even on sweaty hikes. Super glad I had it with me!

Great mineral sunscreen with good coverage

This mineral sunscreen is great for sensitive skin . I didn’t have any reaction when I used it around sensitive areas such as my eyes. My tween child who used it was very happy with it .
It’s quite white when starting to use it but it blends in great once spreading on skin. It doesn’t leave big residue which I find as biggest cons for mineral sunscreen . Overall I recommend this sunscreen for adults and children.

Great sunscreen

So far I absolutely love this blue lizard sunscreen. I was looking for something a bit safer but still affective for my pregnant self and two littles and this has been working great! Its very creamy not gitty at all, easily rubs into the skin and has been awesome in preventing sunburns even after swimming and playing out in the dirt as boys do. Highly recommend.

Nice addition with aloe but leaves a white cast

I like that this sunscreen has added organic aloe. I am allergic to the sun so regardless of how much sunscreen I put on, I usually get a little burnt/ some hives, which aloe helps immensely with. This does leave a little white/blue cast though, so for that reason it is a 4 star for me as a brown woman.

Great for action packed days

This mineral formula is sweat resistant and SPF 50, making it a great choice for protecting my skin from UV rays while making the most of the beautiful weather we are having here in Calgary. 🦇❤️ even this vampire likes to get some rays… sometimes. 😂
I feel like it left my skin with a satiny feel and glowy finish and absorbed pretty quickly. The cap changes colour with UV exposure which is fun and a good reminder to apply and reapply when you’re outdoors even if it’s not sunny I love that it's reef friendly too!

Super cool sunscreen!

As someone with extremely fair skin, I tend to burn very easily. This sunscreen did not make me break out which is great as I wear sunscreen daily. I also teach PE, so being able to apply a sunscreen that's better for the environment, that doesn't have a strong odour and doesn't make me breakout is super important! Blue Lizard checks all of these boxes! The cap that changes colour with UV exposure was really neat touch and was great to show my students! Thanks Crown Labs Canada for the free sample!
