Sweet vanilla cake...

The cake base is a vanilla pound cake. There is a nice natural vanilla flavor throughout. The cake has a soft texture, sort of like there is pudding adding to mix. This cake is a consistency that is between a dense pound cake and a light, airy cake. Slightly dense but also light and fluffy.

There are candied fruit spread throughout the cake which add a sweetness as well as crunch to the soft and moist texture of the cake base. If you microwave for 30 seconds, this cake tastes like you bought it fresh from a bakery.
