This is a full-grain leather product so you can bet it will actually last the years, unlike most genuine leather products. The leather is soft doesn't stiffen with contact with snow or water. The gloves are insulated and can do a decent job of keeping your hands warm. These do run a bit large so you may want to wear another knit glove inside the gloves to make up for the lack of room and provide a little bit of extra warmth.
