Best lil repair kit for the home.

I have used DAP for years around the home. I received this product for free to try. I was very excited to tackle some small projects and this kit made short work of a big job.

Great kit for beginners!

This product is an all in one kit for small repair jobs. It comes with everything you need to get the job completed. Spackle, a patch, putty knife and sandpaper. I found it super easy to use. I had some holes in my basement. It goes from pink to white once it's ready to be sanded and painted. I recommend this product to fix holes around your house.

Easy to use

I received a DAP DryDex Spackling Kit for free in exchange for my honest review. My son helped me repair a wall in the bathroom. This kit is a fantastic tool for quick and easy wall repairs. The spackling compound goes on smoothly and changes color from pink to white as it dries. This feature ensures you know exactly when it’s time to sand and paint. The kit includes all the essentials for patching holes, and the finished result is seamless and durable.
I found the patch to be a bit thick, and it would be more comfortable to use a sanding block rather than sandpaper. After sanding, we decided to apply one more coat for smoother edges. Easy Peasy

I am not great at DIY projects, but when I received my FREE DAP product: Drydex Dry Time Indicator Spackling 1 Ea White/ Kit. It changed my life. I was not waiting for anyone to come and fix the hole in the garage. I did it all by myself and feel very proud about it.

Great kit for beginners!

I was gifted this kit for free in exchange for my honest review.
I think this is the perfect kit for beginner DIYers, or those who don’t do much DIY and therefore don’t have materials on hand. This little kit has everything you need to repair a few small holes in drywall. Bonus for impatient patchers like me - it goes on pink and dries white, so there’s no risk of sanding too early! It is easy to apply and goes on smooth, so it’s almost foolproof. I think the only thing I don’t love is the patch - it is quite thick, and while it’s great for filling larger holes, a novice DIYer might try to use the patch on top of a small hole, leading to a bump instead of smooth drywall. Clearer instructions or examples of when the patch should be used would be helpful!

Great for small holes

I received this product for free to review. The product itself was great. It was easy to use and clean up. The only issue we had is that our house is old so all plaster so when there is a hole it is usually deep or spreads so the patch is not worth the extra. If you have a small repair or do not need to make repairs often it is a great product.

I received a sample kit in the mail of the spackling wall repair kit and I used it on a small hole in my wall and it worked amazing was easy to apply and straight forward

Great kit to repair a significant hole in the wall

I received this product free to review it. I like the colour changing dry indicator. This is a great feature. The patch worked really well too. It felt very strong when I was finished. The piece of sand paper is just enough for one patch job. The 2 inch putty knife is ok for the first application but it is much easier to feather out the edges with a larger tool like the photo on the package (3 or 4 inches). I would buy this if I needed to repair another drywall hole. - Product gifted by DAP.

Easy as 1-2-3

Received DAP free and boy was it an awesome gift. Had a couple of holes to fill and even without being a professional, the task was so easy even I could do it easily. No the unfinished work wasn’t the best, but the hole was filled so easily I did it in a couple of minutes. The pink color makes it easy to see if you missed a spot. Also it dries insanely fast so it’s a real bonus if you want to make a quick repair. I totally recommend. A+
