My boyfriend and I would purchase this when we first got out dog and we wanted to add variety to his food without having to buy mutltiple bags of food. These came in a few different flavours and were well priced but I found that this went right through our dog making him use the bathroom not long after eating it, we used it for a little while thinking his stomach would get used to it but it didn't so we stopped using it.
I was looking for something to mix with the dogs kibble to keep them interested and excited at meal time, a friend of mine gave me a little of hers to try and my dog seemed to like it but following eating this with his kibble he seemed to get the runs. The idea of this product seemed good, however after a took a close look at the indigents I quickly changed my mind;
Chicken Broth, Chicken, Chicken Fat (preserved with Mixed Tocopherols, a source of Vitamin E, and Citric Acid), Sodium Bisulfate, Xanthan Gum, Chicken Flavors, Dried Beet Pulp (sugar removed), Potassium Sorbate (a preservative), Brewer's Dried Yeast, Flax Meal, Carrots, Peas, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Biotin, Thiamine Mononitrate (source of vitamin B1), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Niacin, Riboflavin Supplement (source of vitamin B2), Inositol, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (source of vitamin B6), Vitamin D3 Supplement, Folic Acid), Potassium Chloride, Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Manganous Oxide, Potassium Iodide, Cobalt Carbonate), Rosemary Extract
I mean really? I do not feel good about feeding this to my dog at all. It's loaded with chemicals
Instead of this lovely concoction I opt to use a natural salmon oil additive to my dogs food to keep them interested in eating their kibble
My girl loves these flavorful sauces. She licks who whole bowl clean. We've purchased all the flavors and she seems to enjoy every single one. They smell great and my dog enjoys the taste. A little goes a long way.
