Medicinal tasting :-(

I love trying the range of flavoured gin's around at the moment, and I have tried a few of he JJ Whitley ones s when I saw 1litre bottle of the ink cherry gin in Sainsburys for £16 I thought why not. Not a decision I am proud of. I tried this with a plain diet tonic water and some strawberries and was thoroughly disappointed. The smell was offputting but decided to try it anyway...it literally tastes liking drinking the most vile cough medicine and leaves an awful taste in your mouth afterwards. Seeming good value at £16, but not worth it for the disgusting taste!
