I received this product through the chickadvisors product review club and have been using it regularly. I don't yet have fine lines around my lips and I don't regularly wear lipstick so although I did try the cream the benefits of step 1 are sort of lost on me and because I didn't really have an issue, I didn't use it too much.
the plumper side was much better - I didn't notice a huge plumping difference but it was very moisturizing and not sticky - I really liked it.
at this price point, I wouldn't buy this again b/c half of the product isn't useful for me but if maybelline sold this as two seperate products I'd probably buy step 2!
thanks for the chance to try it:)
Somewhere between holiday shopping & holiday cocktails I had the awesome opportunity to test L'Oreal's lip plumper through Chick Advisor. I was soo pumped when I received the box in the mail I called my girlfriend right away so we could get it started together!! I had never tried a lip plumper before and I have to admit I was not looking forward to adding 2 extra steps towards my beauty regimen at 6 in the morning but I was really stoked to see the results....
After a week I didn't notice much difference, mostly they just felt tingly which I guess it meant it was working? I found the anti-feathering cream messy, and I never got it to disperse the right amount around my lips, the instructions say to dab afterwards but how long afterwards? I just dabbed and hoped it would work even though it was being wiped off. I was also very nervous about what it was I was putting on my lips as I wasn't able to get a full list of ingredients on their website/packaging.
Overall I don't recommend this product. The price point is too expensive for what you end up with so I would say stick to their make up products which is what they are great at. If you do decide to try it, get it on sale! Good luck!

I had the chance to review this product but in retrospect perhaps I wasn't the right audience for it. Luckily I don't have lines around my lips yet so I'd be curious to try this when nature starts playing her cruel tricks. I did find it to be a good moisturizer however, it had a nice thick feel to it and kept my lips feeling soft.
I'd definitely recommend people try this product based on some of the other reviews. Sorry-wish I had more constructive feedback to offer!
I was lucky enough to be a tester for this through Chick Advisor, I was excited to try it out when the mailman dropped off my envelope!!
I received it last week and tried it that night, I felt a slight tingle sensation after applying step 1, and was excited that it was working, I applied step two and went to bed... but woke up the next morning with the same old lips with fine lines and not so much "va va voom"
I continued to try it out throughout the day and nightly, but nothing.. I was very disappointed!
I'm just glad I did not have shell out the money or I would be double disapointed.
Thanks to chickadvisor and l'oreal for allowing me to try this product free of charge. I was looking forward to trying this because I am at an age (47) where I could use all the help I can get. I do have some fine lines around my lips and I generally have problems with dry, chapped lips during the winter months. I applied both step 1 and 2, before putting on my makeup and before going to bed at night. I felt mylips have never looked better. My lipstick went on so nicely and smoothly. I felt step 1 lived up to it's claims for me. My lipstick stayed put with no bleeding or feathering. I did like what step 2 did for the appearance and feel of my lips...however I didn't notice any visibly dramatic plumping affect (though, I feel that way about most plumpers I've encountered) It's convenient that you have the 2 products in 1 small easy to carry package. It seems a high price for a small amount of product, even though a little does go a long way. I would buy this agin because I liked how the product worked for me. And I would reccomend this to women of my age. I don't think the younger ladies need to spend the money for this when a plain lip gloss would work just as well for them.
Thanks to the great folks at ChickAdvisor for sending this out to me as part of the Product Review Club!
To get plump lips like Angelina Jolie without injections or fillers?? Count me in!
However, this product did NOTHING to plump my lips. The hyaluronic acid concentration is probably so low in it that it's negligable. I've been using this regularly for the last 5 days but with no noticeable difference.
I don't have much of a problem with lipstick/gloss feathering so Step 1 wouldn't have made much of a difference. But I was hoping Step 2 would give me the look of fuller lips. I didn't notice a difference and no one has commented that my lips look any different. It makes a nice base (light moisture, non-sticky, not thick) under lipstick/lipgloss, but at this price, there's no way I would buy this just for that!
Not worth the money and doesn't live up to the claims.
I received this product last week from the Product Review Club
The formula is thick and oily like butter when you first apply it, but it soon absorbs to feel light and moisturizing. I like how its not greasy and I do notice that it decreases the appearance of lines.
I generally choose lip gloss over lipstick because I have dry lips which makes the lines very visible.
but I'm getting annoyed at how gloss attracts my hair.
Hence, to be able to wear lipstick without drying up my lips = a very happy girl!
and this new l'oreal product did the job!
The lip filler did a good job as a base layer by keeping my lips moisturized and decreasing the appearance of lines.
the only downside of this product is the price :(
I'll definitely be sad when this product run out, but the price will definitely prevent me from buying it.
I received this product from the product review club and have been using it for 2 weeks, applying it in the morning and before bed. The packaging is great and was small enough not to take up much room in my makeup bag while traveling during the holidays.
The anti-feathering cream was a good primer for my makeup around my lips but did not smooth any of the tiny creases around my lips. I would not recommend the anti-feathering cream as an effective product for softening wrinkles around the lip area. The plumping serum was really moisturizing and healed a bad case of chapped lips within two days of using it. I thought that it did after continued use make my lips subtly plumper without any of the burning or irritation I usually experience from regular plumping lip glosses. The serum also worked well as a lip primer. After checking out the price of this product at the drugstore I would not recommend purchasing it unless you really want to try the plumping serum. If the plumping serum was sold separately on its own, I would use it on a regular basis.
Within 3 days of trying this product, the fine creases near my top lip are quite minimized.
I didn't notice too much at first with the "plumping" but I would not recommend using it if you have a cut or crack (from dry lips) on your lip. The collagen really does work, and where it entered through the cut, my lip is very plump.
That is the only caution - otherwise it is as good as any L'Oreal product I have tried.
Thanks for the opportunity.

I received 2 L'Oreal Collagen Filler Lip from chick advisor, one to try for myself and one to give to my neighbour. Neither one of us really saw much difference around the lip area or on the lips. The claim that it helps fill in the lines around the mouth just doesn't cut it and the lip plumper doesn't work well either. I am very disappointed in this product. I have used L'Oreal products for years, moisturizers, etc. and have been happy with them and recommended them to my family and friends. I won't be recommending this one. The cost of the product doesn't merit the claims.
