Color payoff is amazing!

I've owned several of these lip liners in varying shades to wear under my lipsticks to mute my lips and to prolong lipstick color. My go-to shade is 'stripdown' as it is a great neutral color under any lipstick to make it wearable.

I've been using Mac's lip liners since I was in highschool and I'm 38 years old. I admit, it's a tad expensive for a lip liner but it always lasts me a year and sometimes longer. So great bang for your buck!

The Mac lip pencil in subculture is described as a underground pink by Mac. I would personally described it as a muted dusty pink. It really versatile as you wear it as lip liner , wear it alone or wear mixed with our lipsticks.
