I wasn’t sure what to expect with MAD MOOSE Non-Alcoholic Whiskey, but it honestly surprised me. The flavor has a nice warmth to it and a little smokiness that makes it feel close to real whiskey. It doesn’t taste fake or overly sweet like some alcohol-free drinks do.
I like I enjoyed the taste, and not worry about feeling heavy or tired afterward.
Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want the whiskey experience without the alcohol. I’d definitely get it again.

Such a neat product!

I’m not usually a whiskey fan but this was as close to whiskey you can get without the nasty whiskey smell!
I made a cocktail with mine. Canadian whiskey, but my husband who LOVES whiskey had it on the rocks and said he couldn’t believe it wasn’t real alcoholic whiskey. Had a small burn which mimics alcoholic whiskey but this one saves you from the hangover!

Great alternative for non-alcoholic drinkers!

It was great to try this non-alcoholic whiskey which is great for non-drinkers. It paired well with the ginger beer & lime which I loved, and I really appreciate that this is made in Canada. We need more products like this and more people need to be aware that they can get the whiskey feeling without the mess!

Smooth taste

I love that the sugar content is low. However the real winner here is how smooth and Smoky the taste of the whisky is. It even had a spicy after taste. It would do really well for barbecuing!

Smooth, Smoky, and Spicy

I’ve been exploring non-alcoholic alternatives lately because my alcohol tolerance is low but I still love a good drink.

I’ve always loved whisky-based cocktails and the occasional glass of whiskey and was excited to see what was out there for alcohol-free alternatives.

Mad Moose is a Canadian company and their non-alcoholic whisky is, of course, made in Canada.

The taste was really smooth, woody, smoky, and spicy. A flavourful non-alcoholic substitute for whisky-based cocktails.

Today, I made a version of the Whisky Ginger Mad Moose had on their guide. I didn’t have ginger beer so used a ginger syrup and soda water.

My partner also made an old fashioned as he wanted to try what the non-alcoholic version would taste like.

Mad Moose definitely exceeded our expectations when it came to flavour.

Good non-alcoholic drink

I really liked how versatile this non-alcoholic whiskey is. We tried it in various ways and mocktails and it was very good. The only reason I wouldn't give a 5 star review would be because it doesn't have that distinct whiskey flavour to me, more like a smokey and slightly spicy beverage; but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Great alternative to whiskey

Its a great alternative for any non alcohol driker, i use it for cocktails or even serve it on the rocks, love the flavours and is always praised. A great purchase and will definitely keep using it

Tasty and smooth, closer to a spiced tea

I tried Mad Moose during a hot pot night with friends and overall it was an enjoyable drink, but it didn’t taste like whiskey to me. It came across more like a spiced tea with smoky notes. I did have an issue with the bottle leaking during shipping, so that may have affected the flavour.

Even with that, it was still smooth, easy to sip as a shot, and everyone liked the warm, peppery finish. I also like that it’s non-alcoholic and you can enjoy it without the hangover. Next time I’d love to try it in a cocktail since I think it would shine more in a mixed drink.

Perfect for whiskey lovers!

I’m not the biggest fan of whiskey, but I could definitely get use to this one! I absolutely love the bacon flavour and mixed with some Coca Cola. This will definitely warm you up on those cold winter days!
