A quick snip!

Metal work look out! I love a good tool, especially a good MasterCraft tool, so does my husband and when we received the MasterCraft Drop Forged Snip Cutter with the left Offset for free from Butterly and Canadian Tire we were thrilled because we had the perfect project for it and our existing metal cutters have seen much better days and we’re due for replacement.

This cutter is designed for precise work that would satisfy even your professional trades person. We used them for the new dryer vent we needed to install in our new home, creating the ducting and assembly ourselves required cutting a steel conduit to size. They cut cleanly and with ease, and evenly around the entire duct making fitting the pieces together a breeze!

The handle is ergonomic and provides great grip, and the latch closure is essential to preventing accidental cuts when carrying in a tool bag. Quite an improvement from our older pair. We did find that the handles do open quite wide which can stretch your grip a bit, especially for someone like me with little hands, but otherwise this cutter is excellent.

Overall we were very happy with the precision and performance of this tool and so grateful for the timing of receiving it. This is an essential tool for any homeowner or professional to have on hand, it is up for the task!

Scissor skills at a whole new level

We were sent these to test out and review. We have been building up my son's tool collection. His dad works in construction and he looks up to that always wanting his own tools too.
My husband uses these snips all the time in his line of work and now my son has the same. These are clean, easy to use, they lock for safety, they cut clean and no snagging.
We used it in a slightly unexpected way—my son drew a line on metal and followed it to practice control (think scissors skills… but upgraded 😄). While it does require some hand strength and isn’t designed for young children, it handled the task well and gave him a realistic feel for the kind of tools his dad uses daily.

For professionals or DIYers working with eavestrough, soffit, fascia, or siding, this is a dependable addition to your toolkit.

I used this product for small metal cutting projects at home and during garden maintenance, especially for cutting thin galvanized steel and aluminum sheets. It delivers very clean and smooth cuts without much effort.

We were given the 10" Offset Aviantion Snips to use
We have a pair of regular straight snips that we were using to put the tin on the roof of the house. These will be so much
better in the spring, when we need to finish the roof.
These keep the metal away from your hand, so you can make longer cuts without getting cut by the tin or binding up.
These snips are heavy duty and very sharp and cut through the tin super easy! The grip also fit really well in my husbands hand and could use one hand to unlock them.
He would give them a 5 star out of 5. Though we will see in the spring if they will hold up to finishing the other half of our roof

Quick and easy

I was really surprised by the quality and sturdiness of these metal cutters. They are really sharp and have so many uses. For example, they cut easily through tick plastic or aluminum, making them useful for everyday tasks that needs something more rigid to cut through. I really liked the security feature of the cutters, which helps prevent injuries if there are kids in your house. Strong and Sharp Snip Metal Cutters

I received this tool for free from Butterly to review and i'm glad i was selected. This strong tool was able to cut everything that i was hoping to cut. The spring is a bit strong for my liking but its strength might diminish over time. I'd recommend this tool to be included in your tool box.
