Great Set for All Household Needs!

I was selected to try this Mastercraft tool set from Canadian Tire through Butterly, and I’ll be honest — I wasn’t expecting to be this impressed.

This set comes with a really practical mix of tools: tongue and groove pliers, an adjustable wrench, curved jaw locking pliers, diagonal cutting pliers, and long nose locking pliers. It’s basically everything you need for those random household fixes that pop up way more often than you’d think.

The first thing I noticed was how solid everything feels. The tools have a good weight to them without being uncomfortable to use, and the grips feel secure and easy to handle. The locking pliers in particular hold really well, and the adjustable wrench moves smoothly without slipping.

I’ve already used a few of them for small things around the house — tightening hardware, gripping stubborn pieces, and even cutting through tough plastic ties — and they’ve all worked exactly how I needed them to.

As someone who doesn’t use tools every day, I like that this set is straightforward, reliable, and covers a lot of basic needs without overcomplicating things.

Overall, this is a really practical and well-made set that I can see getting a lot of use. It’s definitely earned a spot in my toolbox.

Get a Grip...on these new Mastercraft Plier set.

My Boyfriend brought these to work with him to give us all a raw honest review. He works with tools all day long. The heads have great grip. They are easy to use. The added grip on the handles of the locking pliers allow you easier grip to really tighten the pliers. 10/10 from the hard working blue collar man.

Must have for the Toolbox !

I was given the Mastercraft 5 piece pliers and wrench set for free for my honest review .The set included 10 " Tongue &Groove pliers, 8" Adjustable Wrench , 7" curved jaw locking pliers , 6 " diagonal cutting pliers and 6 1/2 " long nose locking pliers .Over the weekend we needed to lower the deck on our snowblower and the adjustable wrench was perfect for that !!!! Great add to any toolbox .

My husband loves his tools. He was excited to test and review this Mastercraft 5 piece plier set. He said they are well made and most of the set will come in handy around the house. While he may have some of the same tools these ones are great and comparable to the higher priced brands. Overall great set and this wife will definitely be putting the hubby to work around the house!

Pliers set that will take care of any job

I am a handy person, but sometimes I am not 100% sure which tool would be the best for the job. Especially when it comes to plumbing and anything to do with pipes or faucets for me. Now I do not need to guess, I just bring this set to the task and I can pick and choose what's best. This set would be a perfect purchase or a gift for someone handy or a professional.

My husband liked this set. We can use it at home and at work. He is working with metal and told that it will be useful for him.
One of tools can be a little bit bigger- others are perfect size. The tools have good quality

The Mastercraft 5‑piece plier set for free in exchange for an honest review. After using it on a few household and small DIY projects, it’s turned into a really handy all‑round kit. When I received my Mastercraft pliers and wrench set for FREE to review it. I was so excited because I have this pending task of fixing my recently ripped balcony netting. The locking pliers were able to aid me efficiently as I was to tighten my anchor wire with ease. Furthermore, cutting those old wires is a breeze with the cutter, I was amazed at how sharp it is.

The best feature for me are those comfortable grips, they provide a sure and offer better traction for each task, must be the high-carbon steel in the works. The anti-rust coating has also held up well, with no signs of corrosion after I forgot them outside for about a week. The handles, though comfortable, are a bit on the bulkier side than what I was used to but this is a minor issue I am sure I get over through time.

Overall, the Mastercraft set is a great value for the average homeowner providing a solid collection of hand tools that hold their own for general tasks. The lifetime exchange warranty is a superb addition that goes to show how confident Mastercraft is of their product to perform well. This product for sure, I would highly recommend!

Cute? No. Useful? Extremely.

Look, are these pliers cute? No. Do they match my aesthetic? Also no.
BUT… as a newly moved-in girl who keeps finding small tasks that somehow require “just a quick use of pliers” (liars, all of them), this set has saved me multiple trips to the hardware store and at least four emotional breakdowns.
They’re sturdy, reliable, and exactly the grown-up energy I’m trying to manifest.
This 5-piece plier set has been my emotional support toolkit.
Needle nose? Used it to rescue a washer that yeeted itself behind the dryer. Slip joint? Perfect for convincing Ikea hardware to behave. Diagonal cutters? They CUT.
Hubby, saw them, and nodded respectfully. I think that’s the highest honour a tool can earn.
