Sparking Imagination with Monster Trucks

This toy has been a huge hit in our house! The 15-inch SmashBot is impressive on its own, but add in the exclusive Digatron truck and an adjustable launcher, and you’ve got hours of fun ahead. My son loves aiming for the robot’s head or chest and seeing it topple over. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and excitement.

The best part? You can crank the robot back together in seconds and start all over again. Everything feels sturdy, which is a big plus when the truck is being launched full speed over and over. We even use some of the monster trucks he already has and it's compatible with this!

It’s the kind of toy that sparks imagination and keeps kids entertained without screens. Even more fun if you have other Monster Jam trucks to mix in. Definitely a win for us!

My 4 year old loves it

When this box arrived my 4 year old son took one look and was instantly in love. Combining robots with monster trucks was genius! Assembly was fairly easy and it even comes with a super cool monster truck that breaks in half (and easily goes back to normal). Only issue we had was actually using the truck launcher, it didn’t really work but that didn’t seem to stop my son from loving the toy. He loves that you break the robot and then pump it back up. He probably spent 30mins just looking at all the little things it does and all the cool stickers showing the inside of the robot. Overall, it was a hit, he has continuously played with it since we got it. Would definitely recommend, provided the launcher isn’t a make or break for your kid. But to be fair, we have had similar issues getting launchers to work on other Hot Wheels sets so maybe it’s just us. Also, should add that our other hot wheels monster trucks work with the set also which is nice.

Best new toy in our house!

My boys' are obsessed with this new Monster Jam Smash & Bash Playset! They love everything to do with monster trucks and Monster Jam and this was a hit. It took some tries to get the hand of it, but now it is probably one of our most used toys - love it!

Chaotic but fun!

The kids had a blast helping put the pieces together and seeing their finished product. It’s for sure already getting it fair share of time being used, it’s not a quiet inside activity but they sure are having fun!

“I like when it’s head goes flop” 😂

We had a blast with this Monster Jam SMASHBOT playset! Her top moment was knocking over the Smashbot’s head, while mine was watching her excitedly click the parts together and place the stickers. The details are all there, including a repair station with a tiny gas nozzle. A lot of laughter and imaginative play was had, which is what I love to see as a parent. All in all this Playset is a lot of fun, and with minimal setup it’s an easy choice.

Required more patience than I thought

I recieved this toy for free in return for my honest review. My son loves cars (monster trucks specifically) so I was excited to give this set to him. Right off the bat, the parts were not as easily assembled as I had hoped. There are also tons of stickers you need to put on that just felt like a waste of time for me. Once you put the toy together, there's a bit of practice involved in getting the car to hit the robot. My son wasn't strong enough to get th car to launch itself too so he lost interest fairly quickly. I would recommend this set more for older kids who are up for a challenge

Great for little ones to big ones!

My eleven, nine, and five year old boys love this toy! It works well, as designed. They can't get enough of trying to crash into the robot with the monster truck. This will be my go-to birthday present for boys!

Super fun!

My girls faces lit up with joy when the Monster Jam Smash & Bash playset arrived at our home. Setting it up was fairly easy with the included assembly guide and we were playing in less than 10 minutes. The vehicle that comes in the set isn't like most other options out there as this one gives the illusion of breaking on impact. Only 4 snaps back into place and it's ready to launch again. We decided to try it out with a few of our other small metal cars, and with a slight modification on how we loaded it, we had those cars flying through the air. Fun to play with alone, or with others as there are features like a claw loader, robot reanimator lever, and simply retrieving the launched vehicles. We played with this for 2 hours straight without realizing how much time had passed and I don't think we saw the same outcome twice! The only negative I found was trying to apply the decorative stickers while my kids were actively playing with it. I would definitely recommend this for kids of all ages and genders! Who says Monster Trucks are just for boys?!

Smashing fun

This smash and bash set was quick to set up but was missing a piece (we were still able to use it without it) other than that, playing with the set was fun, knocking the monster down and pulling it back up kept us busy for awhile. I would recommend this as it is a fun toy but I hope the other sets in the store are not missing pieces as well.

Challenging

Zayn and Tiger absolutely love this! It’s a bit challenging to get through, which is great—it keeps them entertained and trying for a long time 🤪 super easy to put together.
