The Vida by PADERNO Mandoline has been such a helpful tool in my kitchen! I love how easy it is to adjust the slicing options—thin potato chips, julienned veggies, you name it. It feels super sturdy, and the safety guard makes it a lot less intimidating to use. Cleanup is quick, and it doesn’t take up much counter space, which is always a bonus. The only thing I wish it had is a chopping option—that would truly make it the ultimate kitchen tool. Still, for slicing and prepping, it’s a total time-saver!

Helpful kitchen tool!

This tool is overall great. Love all the different heads which makes less of a mess in the kitchen. You are able to grate, wave slice, and zest with the different attachments. The only issue is I thought it would be way sharper the blade. I was having trouble trying to slice different vegetables and fruits but maybe I am just not using the right settings. Looking forward to play around with it more

Just got my hands on this mandolin and it’s a total game changer. Slicing cucumbers and carrots has never been so quick and easy. It comes with 5 different blades, so I can switch between regular slices, julienne, or even zesting. The adjustable thickness is super handy, and the hand guard keeps my fingers safe while I work. Plus, the container catches all the slices—no mess! My kid's been loving the veggies, and I’m loving how much time it saves me in the kitchen. Definitely a must-have for anyone who likes to cook but hates prep work!

Disappointed with this one…

I feel so bad providing a negative review but this produce did not meet my expectations!
Immediately I hated the colour…. ( not that this is a big deal but pretty is better!) The handle used for securing items to slice, grate etc didn’t stay connected to the potatoe or cheese we tired it with! ( both me and my husband tried it)
I ended up cutting my finger getting it out of the box for the second use as all the blades do not store away within the unit as they should. With a few tweets this could be a much better item!! Sorry!

Why have I not owned this before?

Five different blades, adjustable thickness setting, comfortable handle, integrated container and handle for use without it, and dishwasher safe! Food prep just got a whole lot easier in this house! Highly recommend!
