What is "American cuisine"? If you're a born-and-bred North American, you won't recognize your favourite chow for the unique cuisine it is. Think Surf 'n Turf platters, premium burgers, Southern-style fried chicken and BBQ pork ribs for a start. Serve 'em up with Californian salads, perfectly seasoned home fries, baked potato and corn on the cob, then follow with good ol' apple pie, triple chocolate brownies, and decadent milkshakes.
Hungry yet? Yeah, let's order in American tonight!

Recently was privileged to go to the soft opening of Firehouse Subs in Burlington and wow what a surprise!
We were first greeted by one of the teenagers working the counter who was kind enough to explain how their franchise works, gave his opinion on his fave sub and then let...

Everything on the menu is great. Some of the best items on their menu pizza and the burgers. They brew their own beer as well. Always enjoy going here for a meal.

I agree with the other reviewer, this place is awesome and the only one left in Durham now. 😢 The sandwiches are always put together with care and are invariably fresh. Fantastic customer service too. I drive 1/2 hour out of my way to treat myself to lunch here!

Great place for brunch. I went here with girlfriends for brunch. The food is good and fresh. The restaurant is located in what seems to be an old townhouse. There are three floors and each has a distinct decor. The top floor offered shared banquet style seating meaning that your...

Swiss Chalet tastes like home cooked food. It isn't quite fast food but they do have a delivery window which is a nice option. The price is a little higher but worth every penny.

Mmmmmmmm I love this place. My favorite is the pulled pork, however I have never eaten something from here that I didn't enjoy. The pulled pork bbw sause is very sweet and tangy, finger licking good. My hubby loves the ribs best, fall off the bone, slow cooked and very yummy. We...

Oh my god- best fried chicken you can get her. Crazy crispy, crunchy batter (not super thin- its nice), very moist, meaty chicken- big pieces. The spicy is not really spicy, it just has tons of black pepper in the batter, and is slightly less thick and crunchy. This place is...

Oh... this Fondue place is so freaking delicious! It's pricey if you get the "feast"... but so worth it! If everyone at your table orders the "feast", you get a salad to start, then 2 pots of the cheese of your choice w/ fruit, veggies and bread. You pick 3 types of meat...

The interior is incredible- bowling alley table tops, old school chairs, floor to ceiling chalkboard wall map, and reclaimed wood counters. I also really love their unique concept-order your hotdog (fresh bun and mini dog), pick your cheese and then your sauce. There are so many...

I've been to this restaurant a number of times but realised I've never actually rated it!
The restaurant is located in Toronto's Bloor West Village. It's a small restaurant, with a very cozy atmosphere and best of all the food is fantastic. I would say the food is basically...

The decor is cheesy with antlers everywhere, the portions are massive, but it is cheap and good! Each entre is big enough to share with two people. I had one order of halibut and one of ribs, shared between 4 people and we were all stuffed. The halibut was especially...

I had the recent pleasure of eating at Turtle Jack's and have to say that the food was so much more delicious than I expected. I had been told by a friend that this place was similar to a Jack Astor's and I have to say that friend was only partially correct. I found that that...
