What is "American cuisine"? If you're a born-and-bred North American, you won't recognize your favourite chow for the unique cuisine it is. Think Surf 'n Turf platters, premium burgers, Southern-style fried chicken and BBQ pork ribs for a start. Serve 'em up with Californian salads, perfectly seasoned home fries, baked potato and corn on the cob, then follow with good ol' apple pie, triple chocolate brownies, and decadent milkshakes.
Hungry yet? Yeah, let's order in American tonight!

We ad a party at this place and dinner was a pasta bar . Well , a chef was heating the already cooked pasta on a pan and ask you which sauce you wanted: meat , tomato or rosé. My choice was rosé and I didn't like it. My sauce was watery.... the rest of the meal was chicken...

All day breakfast mom and pop diner type place. Too bad the mom and pop are rude as can be. The subs are good but I hate the bread- gets so greasy and just doesn't hold up. Breakfast is standard but cooked well. Quite cheap except for double deluxe subs.

I came here probably three times, and each time I went, I've had a great experience. The servers are always polite, and the ambience is great.
The food is always in giant portions without being too expensive, and it tastes excellent.
The only issue I've ever had was...

For fans a Grilled Cheese with flair this casual resturant in Kensington Market is the place to go. Their menu goes above and beyone the traditional cheese and bread recipie, with more exotic combinations like dill and havarti, or the "Hamlet" (ham and cheese) which makes for a...

The chef at The Sample Room in Minneapolis knows what to do with a scallop.
The Sample Room has both small plates and larger dishes. While they are, in my opinion, a bit expensive, the food is definitely above average. My favorite is the scallop with sun-dried tomato pesto...

Never been a fan of Arby’s sandwiches but I do enjoy their curly fries a lot. Something about their sandwiches makes me sick but it just might have been the locations I visited or what I ordered.

I first discovered The Pickle Barrel Yonge/ Dundas location in 1987 when I was a student at Ryerson. Back then it was a great place to grab a chicken salad sandwich, burger and fries for lunch and get a break from campus between classes. A lot has changed since then, the menu...

Nice open venue, pretty decor, LOVE the glass lounge section up front (perfect for people watching in one of the most busiest intersections in the world)! Service was a bit slow and they squeezed our group of 6 into a small booth (even though we made reservations weeks in...

The only things I'd really recommend about McDonalds is their Big Mac, their McFlurries, their breakfast hashbrowns, and their coffee. And even that can depend on the location and who is making it. I've had some pretty pathetic McFlurries that I've paid way too much for. I wish...

The BEST fried chicken. Oh man is it perfect. Big pieces and the greatest skin- crunchy, light, not super oily. The chicken inside is juicy and so tender. I prefer the original to the spicy (spicy just has pepper in the batter). Not the nicest service but they are quick and...
