Mill St Stock Ale

1 review

Mill St Brewery originated in Toronto, Ontario, but also has one of their Flagship brew pubs here, in Ottawa, Ontario - the food is exquisite and they have their main and special beers on tap! Stock Ale has to be the least offensive craft brew out there. It's actually rather...
Big Rig India Pale Ale

1 review

Big Rig is a local Ottawa brewery with its flagstaff locations in the Westend. It is owned by one of the Ottawa Senators (whose name I don't recall - I don't pay attention to hockey). Big Rig's India Pale Ale has a bit of kick with their hop, but it a little bit TOO citrusy for...
Bicycle Craft Brewery - Velocipede

1 review

Bicycle Craft Brewery is located in an industrial park in Ottawa, Ontario. The owners are quite friendly and love their craft! Velocipede is their staple beer - with bitter hops, a slight pine and floral scent, and a nice light colour, it goes down quite nicely for an Indian...
Bud Light Cran-ber-ita

1 review

The winter edition from the bud margarita collection. It has a nice cranberry taste with a slight tequila edge. Genuinely delightful.
Angry Orchard Hard Cider ROSÉ

1 review

If you like semi-dry wine this cider is for you. Crisp, bitter, I can hardly taste the apples, and it is obviously not sweet (dry), it says it has hibiscus but could not get any hint of it in my cider. Refreshing...I would say yes, would I buy it again, I don’t know. Honestly...
twisted tea rasberry

2 reviews

I FOUND THIS STUFF ON A RARE OCCASION AND CANT FIND THEM ANYWHERE ANYMORE. Honestly don’t like beer or teas but the raspberry kind was sooo good you couldn’t even notice it was a malt beverage. The peach itself is good but HOLY crap. Bring these back.
Russell brewing Fat head pumpkin beer

1 review

I am a huge fan of pumpkin beer and was disappointed with this brew. It is more of a flat brown ale. I could not taste any pumpkin spice at all. It isn't a bad beer but if you are buying it expecting a pumpkin ale forget about it.
Molson Canadian Cider Pear

1 review

As a treat for myself for "Me time" I've been trying various alcoholic beverages and ciders were top on my list. Due to a promo for Air Miles I decided to give Molson Canadian Ciders a try. The Molson Canadian Cider Pear was the 2nd of their ciders I tried. I liked it better...
Beyond the Pale - Rye Guy

1 review

Beyond the Pale is another Ottawa brewery that is quite experimental with their beers - they always have something new out! Rye Guy is a full bodied beer with a hint of Rye - I'm not a big Rye fan, so I usually just have a sample size of this - leaving the rest to my Husband to...
Cassel Brewery Ghost Train

1 review

Cassel brewery is a cute little brewery located in Casselman, Ontario. It literally is right off the railroad tracks. I visited here in 2013 and 2014, and am happy to see their brews starting to enter the LCBO market. I'm trying to find a pumpkin beer that I can actually enjoy...
Broadhead Brewery Grindstone Amber

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! I like Amber Ales - but Broadheads is just a bit hoppy for my Amber tastes. It is a beautiful amber...
Rickard's Oakhouse Winter Lager

1 review

I was quite surprised that Rickard's released an oak beer, and was really excited to taste it - as I'm a huge Rickard's beer fan. The aroma definitely "oakey", and sweet smelling. The taste also has a decent oak flavour, and it's not overpowering. It's a thinner beer...
Heineken 0.0 beer

1 review

Heineken 0.0 is a delicious non-alcoholic version of the original lager beer! I was very lucky to score this great sample from Heineken. This non-alcoholic version of Heineken is still brewed with the same premium malt and special A-Yeast as the alcohol based original. It has...
Bridge Brewing Company - Bourbon Blood Orange Wheat Ale

1 review

Opaque, orange-tan in colour w/ minimal white head & medium-sized bubbles on side of glass. Orange aroma w/ a hint of caramel maltiness. Starts off with a lightly tart orange taste upfront, then fades into bitterness. No bourbon notes. Refreshing wheat ale that goes down...
Shiny Apple Cider

2 reviews

I love cider but I made the mistake of being lured in by the artwork on this can. So pretty, so girly... but sadly it's awful. Far too sweet with something chemical going on. I managed to choke it down but I certainly won't be trying it again.
Broadhead Brewing Long Shot White

1 review

Broadhead Brewery is located in the industrial area of Ottawa - the boys who opened it were actually Government workers by day (as advised when we toured there last year)! This is more of a summer/patio beer - with a citrusy spiced orangy taste to it - not my cup of tea in a...
Covered Bridge Brewing - MSB

1 review

Covered Bridge Brewing opened up last year not that far from our house, in Stittsvillle, Ontario. They are very creative with a lot of their beers, so they're great for super craft beer lovers. MSB is their Imperial Brown Ale - I normally enjoy browns. This one, not so much...
Big Rig Stud Stout

1 review

Big Rig is a local Ottawa brewery with its flagstaff locations in the Westend. It is owned by one of the Ottawa Senators (whose name I don't recall - I don't pay attention to hockey). I like stouts. But I don't like chocolate or coffee in my beers. Therefore this beer is not...
Kichesippi Beer Co - Radler

1 review

Kichesippi Beer Company is located near Ottawa, Ontario's west end and always has had consistently quality beer since 2010. Radlers. Available in the summertime only, I was unlucky enough to sample this beer. It's a grapefruit based beer...and I'm not fond of grapefruit. This...
Kichesipi Beer Co. - Bristol Stout

1 review

Kichesippi Beer Company is located near Ottawa, Ontario's west end and always has had consistently quality beer since 2010. Bristol Stout. I like stouts. Milk stouts - not so much. I find this just tasted too thick and had an off taste about it - blech.
