I prefer darker colored rum over white rum. I find the taste to be smoother and more delicious. If I were to mix my rum with something, I would pick white rum but this spiced rum is so good that I like to drink a bit in a shot glass with ice and squeeze some lime into it...MMM...

One of the first dark rums I've had and still enjoying it. It is made from Jamaican rum and made for the Newfoundland Liquor Corporation. This works well straight up or in a mixed drink. This is what you drink to become "screetched in" in NL!

Have you tried the Kraken, the pretty bottle with the big Kraken on it? Well, you should! The rhum is my favorite. Dark color, little bit of spice and a beautiful note of caramel in it. The Kraken price range around 30$ for a bottle and it can't last long if you don't drink it...

I recently tried this dragonberry rum after a long search for this product. It’s difficult to find, but worth the search! It actually tastes pretty great on its own and is very smooth, but it’s also delicious as a mixer! If you find it, stock up!
