The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve

1 review

I was given a bottle for Christmas and I was quite surprised to see how much I enjoyed it. I love Scotch and do enjoy a lower priced one for "everyday". This one is smooth and has been described as "easygoing". It's an easy Scotch to get into; I think it would be an excellent...
Grant's Family Reserve Scotch Whisky

1 review

I had never tried Grant's Whisky before but it was on sale at the LCBO. It was a great price! It's a blended whisky though I normally go for a single malt. I mixed it with coke so I can't really affirm to drinking it on it's own, but it was very very smooth!
Crown Royal Vanilla

2 reviews

I very much enjoy Crown Royal as a regular everyday whisky. The vanilla sounded promising but ended up falling flat. The vanilla flavor is muted by the whisky taste and even on the nose it is hardly detectable.
Glen Garioch 16 YO Renaissance Chapter II

1 review

Pricey (approx $144/bottle) but refined whiskey. Smooth finish. Makes a perfect drink for sipping while relaxing after a long day/after dinner. The aroma is just amazing!
Highland Park Valkyrie

Exquisitely balanced and delivering wave upon wave of warm aromatic smoke and richly ripened fruit, VALKYRIE is the first in a series of three special Viking Legend releases. If you are a scotch drinker, you are certainly going to love this.
The Macallan Gold

Nose Lemon citrus, then orange peel and an interlacing sweetness that softens but doesn't eliminate the zest. A quiet note of vanilla is followed by dark chocolate with lingering floral and light oak notes. Palate Citrus and boiled sweets rule the palate, along with hints of...
Wayne Gretzky Cream Whiskey

4 reviews

I sampled this whiskey cream at my local liquor store and I was blown away! I'm a huge fan of Jamaican rum cream, and I think that this whiskey cream might be better. I'm actually headed out tonight to buy another bottle before the sale is over, and I've never done that with...
Wiser's Apple Whiskey

1 review

When I first bought it, I could drink it non stop, which it is good, don’t get me wrong, but after a while the taste will soon start to make you feel queasy, also the bottle is quite small for the price you pay. Best mixed with ginger ale!
McGuinness Cherry Whisky

1 review

I use cherry whiskey to make cherry whiskey paralyzers alot and its good to mix in shots to. It has good flavor and i will keep buying it and recommending it.
Southern Comfort Whiskey

1 review

Smooth. So very smooth. Whiskey with fruit and spice undertones. It really is like no other liquor. Great mixed with orange juice (tang is really nice), Iced Tea for a lovely Long Island Iced Tea, Cola is tasty and my favorite is a Good Brand of Root Beer-spices in both...
Haig Club Whisky

1 review

As an occasional whisky drinker I was keen to try a new bottle. This came in the form of Haig Club, and it came in a well presented bottle that looked smarter than other bottles. When trying the whisky it was very smooth and light and went down with ease without leaving the...
Canadian Club apple whiskey

1 review

Upon opening the bottle the smell of fresh apples hit my nose. I mixed it with cranberry ginger ale and could still smell the fresh apple aroma. It is a very smooth tasting whiskey.
cutty sark

I bought it by chance from airport duty free because of its low price and I had heard it from my friend. The 1 liter bottle was perfect blend. the taste was great (similar to other whiskies) but it was exceptionally smooth. Will definitely recommend because of the affordability
Glenfiddich Single Malt Scotch

1 review

I’ve been loyal to the Glenfiddich brand for years now for the quality of their products and the diverse array of options. You can consume these beverages on their own, on the rocks or even mixed in with other beverages, although for the price you pay, I would just recommend...
Ardbeg

This scotch is a smokey & peaty one. Takes a couple times of drinking to truly appreciate it. Some might opt to cut with water to lessen and open up the sharp taste.
Reunion Irish Cream Moonshine

1 review

Proof that FB advertising works. I saw an add for this product. The company is Top Shelf Distillery a small Canadian craft distillery located in Perth, Ontario. Their products are handcrafted crafted in small batches and the Irish Cream is only available for a short time. The...
Royal Salute 21 year old

1 review

This whisky is very distinctive. The bottle is beautiful in the box and ceramic coloured bottles. Hubby received this as a birthday gift last year. Hubby is quite an experienced whisky drinker and this one is fair for the price, perhaps a tad overpriced. This is quite a dark...
Ledaig 10 year old single malt scotch whisky

1 review

Ledaig 10 year is a light golden yellow in the bottle, and an even lighter more delicate lemon yellow in the glass. On the nose this is very Islay-ish. Sweet, tarry, slightly medicinal. Finish is warm and pleasantly honey sweet. I only complaint with it is the fruit feels out...
