live from abbey road Kylie

Australian singer Kylie Minogue will release "The Abbey Road Sessions November 6th. This album was recorded in London's famous Abbey Road Studios. It features sixteen classic tracks spanning Kylies 25 year career. I should be so Lucky to name one of many. This is a mellow album...
Headstones - Love Fury

1 review

Canadian rock fans were sad indeed to see the demise of the Headstones (one of Canada's more successful rock bands) in 2003, but it was for good reason. The band's lead singer, Hugh Dillon, had battled demons and hardcore drug/alcohol addiction for years and, despite numerous...
Good Charlotte - Young and the Hopeless Album

J'ai écouter énormément cette musique lorsque j'étais adolescente et j'ai toujours apprécier ce groupe ! Retour en arrière j'En écouterais encore !
The Killers - Hot Fuss

I would play this a lot when I would have parties. It is a CD that make me want to get up and dance or just listen to it while playing cards or something. His voice is so different from other artists and I find I never get sick of this CD.
Iggy Pop- Nude & Rude: The Best of Iggy Pop

1 review

I love this CD. It gives you a selection from his Stooges days to his solo career. He's an original icon who has matured over the years. He has a great sense of humour. He's even done an album where he is singing in French in crooner style. This CD has been there for me...
Brand New - Deja Entendu (2003)

1 review

Music reviews are always so weird to me because it's such a subjective thing...but here we are... This is my favourite album of all time. This album was released at a time when, musically, emotionally, etc. I was really coming into my own person. And this album just touched me...
Spotify

I never belonged to any subscription based services and never thought I would. I got a free trial of Spotify for a road trip and became totally hooked. The monthly fee is WELL worth it, I use this service every single day. Music, podcasts, you name it.
Steel Panther-Balls Out

2 reviews

The only place this cd would carry it it's at Scrape Records, the band is very very silly with the lyrics and the actual stage show, balls out is good, you like 80's hair metal you got it!
Dustin Kensrue - Carry the Fire (2015)

1 review

I have been a follower of Thrice for over a decade now - and have also closely followed Kensrue's solo career. I watched Thrice evolve. And have since watched Kensrue evolved as well. This album is targeted towards a different audience than his previous solo albums, though it...
Sparrow Sleeps

Though I don't have kids yet, I always think about my interests and I get really excited at the opportunity to help shape who they are - and introduce them to things (like music) that I really love. Some of the music that helped shaped me as a person is now available as...
Punk Goes Pop

1 review

Music lovers rejoice - it seems we love nothing more than hearing punk/metal/rock bands cover cheesy pop songs. Some of the PGP cd's offer covers that I honestly prefer over the original songs! I have favourites from all 6 releases (plus Punk Goes Acoustic, Punk Goes Metal...
Chiodos - Illuminaudio (2010)

1 review

I have been following Chiodos for years - and yes, mourned the loss of Craig Owens - until I heard this album. This album is my favourite of all Chiodos albums - it is theatrical and feels like a story in itself. It is what I think Chiodos should sound like. The vocals that...
Death Cab for Cutie - Kintsugi (2015)

1 review

Though Chris Walla (as producer) left the band during the recording of this record, Kintsugi as a whole is a refreshing new piece from DCFC. Kintsugi is Japanese - and is an art of putting broken pieces back together beautifully, treating the breakage as a part of history...
The Used - Self titled album

J'ai beaucoup écouter ce CD lorsque j'étais adolescente et j'aimais énormément ce groupe ! Je ne sais pas si le groupe existe encore, mais j'aimais beaucoup !
Finch - What it is to Burn (2002)

1 review

Well, the fact that this album still gives me chills like the first time I heard it 13 years ago is a good sign. This album brings me back to my youth and makes me feel 15 again - including some of those awkward 15-year-old me memories. This is one of a few albums that really...
Childish Gambino Camp Album

This is an awesome CD. It is rap, but typically is not about sexually exploiting woman and drug usage like most rap. The lyrics are meaningful, and the CD is easy to listen to in its entirety. The concert was amazing as well!
