Insanely large boxes for tiny items.

I bought some "special" tissue paper for an art project from amazon as they don't sell it in stores nearby.
Check out the size of this box!! I was expecting a paper envelope or at most a bubble envelope, but this is ridiculous, to the point of questioning my morals and ethics by using this site in the future.
Realistically, it should be Amazon checking their environmental footprint.
A 3.5' box - I just can't wrap my head around it.
Supposedly it is packaged according to an algorithm to load the trucks to capacity - well, why wouldn't they load it with smaller boxes of other products to be more efficient?
