Expensive, rude and unfriendly staff

I’ve visited here on a couple of occasions when in the area giving them the benefit of the doubt the second time. A town centre hotel cum pub cum restaurant with extortionate prices, mediocre expensive food, and very rude staff. Menu is good but the food is mediocre...we had cold uncooked chips, they’d run out of three wines and took over half an hour to bring us a coffee, then lied about it! Emailed the landlady twice and she failed to acknowledge or apologise. Steer clear!
