Essence is not really a brand I'd go to for mascara. This brush was ok and definitely reminded me of CoverGirl LashBlast, which is a drugstore fav across the board. This is ok for those with curly lashes that don't need a lot of work.

I like this stuff. For being super cheap and almost no name for cosmetics .. I do find it works really well on things like bags under your eyes and red skin. This stuff will cover pimples as well just not super well .. I'd stick to a concealer for that.

There is hardly any pigment and it does not even blend properly. The price is great though! I even tried spraying some fix+ by Mac to see if it would pick up any eye shadow. It did pick it up but when I applied to my eyes, it was crumbly.
Coming in at just under $2.00 before tax one might not expect much. This eyeliner is the one to beat though. Easy application, stays all day without smudging, and best of all it's waterproof.
The colors are very easy to apply on and they are good for everyday makeup look. A very basic piece to have in the makeup bag. Good for people who are new to make up.
