NYC New York Color Reviews
Not worth a penny
It's actually $5 and I think it's a high price tag for something that will literally just go in the garbage. I am not usually a lipstain kinda girl but the colour looked so pretty in the packaging so I said why not. I brought it home unwrapped it and.... It was...
not a bad concealer but too drying for this 60 yr old. it settles in my lines and it was "gone" in 4 hrs i had to reapply - may be good for younger people but not for dry skin
This primer is no where near as smooth or mattifying as most other primers I have tried and feels more like a shimmering lotion than a primer. And yes, there does seem to be a shimmer built into this primer which makes my combination/oily skin look even shinier than normal. Not...
I was hoping for a pigmented dark rich liquid liner so I was a bit disappointed. It's a bit too sheer to my liking. It's also a bit too shiny when you do get an opaque color by going over your lines 2 or 3 times. The tip and the "pencil" itself is very nice and easy to...
I personally hated this product. I bought it because I was away and had no makeup and this was cheap and looked fun. The wand does not hold the color so when you open it, it goes everywhere. The color does not stay on nice and smooth but rather smears everywhere. I bought it one...
I think this is a good basic eye pencil. I like that it can be removed and cleaned up with a q-tip. The color payoff is quite good, but it not super pigmented. There are quite a few colors to choose from as well. This doesn't last a very long time, however.
I saw Tati on youtube recommending this and since she is a makeup professional, I had really high hopes for this eyeliner. Sadly, the pigmentation is very low, which is quite deceiving. I saw people here saying that you have to turn it upside down, which I did but it didn't...
I have used nyc lipstick in creamy caramel for a few years now. This is my go to product. It doesnt leave my lips feeling dry after a few hours but quite the opposite
I bought this foundation in the summer because everything else felt so heavy on my skin, I found the fact that it blended so well great since it is harder to find a matching colour in the summer months. Not the greatest foundation for winter months because your skin needs much...
It doesn't last very long. I do alot of work with my hands and usually after sitting there doing my nails,I could turn around an hour left with a chip on of a nail!
I got this in a clear gloss, though it does come in different colours. It has light floral scent and isn't super sticky. But I didn't find that it was very plumping. For the price is isn't a bad gloss but it doesn't live up to it's plumping claim I find.
I love these tinted lip balms. This particular shade is not super pigmented, but if you're looking for sheer coverage then it's great. I like to use this for a subtle lip tint that is also hydrating. A word of caution though, the scent is this green apple kind of smell that's...
I am not typically a fan of NYC products, I only purchased this because it was on sale and the packaging was kinda cute - the little apple shape on the lip balm especially.
I was not surprised with the quality, it was way too soft and every time I applied it to my lips the...
This product goes on kind of watery to me. It doesn't give the skin the type of coverage that I typically prefer when I turn to foundations.. It left my skin somewhat orangey. And it goes on quite streaky.
This foundation is definitely one of the cheaper drug store brands which I like. I love other NYC makeup but this foundation just did not work for me and left me with breakouts.
