Time Saver

I've been using this for the past week or so and it's a huge time saver for me. I spend a lot of time straightening my hair with the iron. The straightening brush does the same with one sweep.

I don't have super curly or wavy hair. It's a mix of straight and wavy so it works out for me since I just want to smooth out my waves. I don't recommend getting this if you have full head of curls or waves as I don't see this working as well as an iron does. It doesn't give you pin straight hair thus giving some volume.

As much as I want to love this product to the fullest, it has its limitations. It's easy to use, it saves time and feels less damaging to hair (not sure if this is true) but it doesn't give you the 'straight' hair look if that's what one's looking for. The style also doesn't hold for very long. At the end of the day, I can see the ends of my hair bending in various directions (hence not straight) and I often need to do another swipe or two the next morning where as with an iron I can keep my style for days without having to go back to it.

Overall, I'm satisfied since it does the job I need it to do. I use it as if it's a comb so brushing my hair with it every morning in a few strokes isn't too bad. Especially since I don't enjoy dedicating 30 - 45 mins a day to straightening my hair and to have to add volume back to it after I'm done.

For those bad hair days

Even though I am a hairstylist I get very lazy with my own hair so this brush gets hot enough and stretches the hair enough to get the perfect amount of frizz out. Recommend for not super thick course hair anything below that it’s awesome.
