My MacBook is from 2008! Yes 2008. It still works, I have had to replace the battery once already, and do numerous software repairs. The external speakers also do not work anymore. At the time, it cost me a lot of money but considering that it still works all these years later, it is definitely worth it. I have also never put a virus protection program on it, and have never once had a virus. I love this little computer!

I've had my macbook since mid 2008, and it's still going strong after 1 battery replacement. The only negative is that the power adaptor frays easily and i'm currently on my forth, which is the new L shape design, hopefully it will last longer than it predecessors. I would still buy a macbook if and when my current one goes kaput.

I have the apple macbook pro and I honestly believe that once you go to mac you never go back! its the best computer I've ever had! never had an viruses and it runs like a charm!

I dont have one of these yet but my friend does and OMG ever since ive been saving every extra penny so i can get one. Its so light and the internet speed is crazily fast. I cant wait to get one.

The Macbook is definitely expensive in comparison to other laptops. However, it is worth the money! The battery lasts at least 5 hours. I love that it does not download anything without your permission. It is a product ( as well as a brand) that will continue to sell, due to its durability and performance.

I have the MacBook Pro and I really enjoy it! I got it almost 2 years ago now and haven't had any issues yet! It seems to hold its battery power well and once i got the hang of it the computer was very easy to navigate!
