I like the SPF!

I received this product as part of the product review club. Even though I wouldn’t say I have overly sensitive skin, I was excited to try this product as I am always aware of what I put on my face. It seems like most facial moisturizers only have an SPF of 15, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see the SPF of 30 with this product. Like most moisturizers with sunscreen, I did find that you really had to rub it into make sure you didn’t get white streaks left on your face. I wouldn’t say that I really noticed a big difference in redness on my face, but I really did like the fact that there was sunscreen in the moisturizer.

No greasy skin

After the first use of AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING DAILY MOISTURIZER WITH SPF 30 I was pleasantly surprised that my skin was not greasy feeling or shiny.

Worked well under makeup without feeling like my foundation was going to slide off. It did give a bit of a white appearance on its own which was a bit of a drawback but overall it was great

Not my favorite product

I was chosen to test this product free from Aveeno. I love the fact that this moisturizer has such a high SPF factor! As a natural redhead, my skin is very sensitive to sunlight and burns easily, so I love that this product does double duty for me, protecting my skin and moisturizing it all at once. My first reaction was that the moisturizer was extremely thick and heavy, and didnt feel good on my skin. The next thing I noticed was how oily it made my skin after each use. I did however continue to use this as my regular daily moisturizer, and did not see any change in the overall tone of my skin, redness reduction, or any smoother than when I started. I wont be purchasing this in the future.

Nice light moisturizer

I have very fair skin, and so it is important to me to use products with SPF. So firstly I was glad to see that with this product. The main thing I enjoyed was that the lotion was light, and easy to rub into the skin. It really didn't have any scent, if any just a very faint light one. I can't say that it changed my skin for the better, but it didn't do it any damage, which is important. It is an affordable option, especially over some of the more luxury brands - but still does a great job. I'd recommend this product to anyone needing SPF protection, scent difficulties, and/or as a general moisturizer.

Good at getting rid of the redness, but felt like sunscreen

I've been using the Aveeno Ultra-calming daily moisturizer with SPF 30 for a littel over a week now and it has done a great job at keeping my skin nice and moisturized. It smells great, had a SPF of 30 which is fantastic since I don't need to put on sunscreen on top of the moisturizer and I loved the bottle with the pump! The moisturizer is fairly thick and felt a little like actually sunscreen to me (kinda sticky feeling when I put it on). I do have a tendency to have red spots on my skin and it did a good job at getting rid of those, but it felt a little oily and I did break out a little more than usual when using it. #GotItFree

On the fence

I think this is a great moisturizer. It left my skin smooth and really helped the dry patches in my face from the cold winters we get here in Canada. Sadly, even though it states non comedogenic I found I did have a small break out. I'll have to continue using to see if it was due to that time of the month or maybe because of the spf in it, but if you don't have acne prone skin would definitely give this one a go. #gotitforfree @chickadvisor

Love this moisturizer!

So far, using this moisturizer has made my skin so soft and dewy. Normally I can't find a product that gets rid of the dryness without making my skin oily but this one worked wonders. The smell is bland but I'd rather that anyways. You only need a very small amount so the value is excellent. I was so excited to be chosen to try it and got a full size product free! #got itfree

calm, cool, collected skin

This is probably one of the best moisturizers I have ever used. I have sensitive, dry, acne prone skin and I have not experienced any breakouts just moisturized calm skin. The only down side to this product is the retail price ($19.99) I think that price is a bit much compared to other drugstore moisturizers but the product it self is good and a little goes a long way.

White streaks are a major pain

For starters, this isn't a moisturizer; it is a basic sunscreen, plain and simple. My face doesn't feel refreshed or 'ultra-calm' at all. It annoyingly feels tacky where any pet hair sticks to my face and I feel like I'm wearing a mask. It's a layer on my face that I just want to wash off because it feels uncomfortable.

Another con is it leaves white streaks all over my face. It accumulates in my eyebrows and other creases leaving white matter that I need to use my nail to kind of scrap out. My fingertips, when trying to blend out the streaks, just seem to push around, what feels like gunk. Eventually, it does seem to buffer into the skin.

$20 is a steep price point for a low end feeling sunscreen. I have cheaper moisturizers with SPF 30 that actually feel and act like moisturizer, and they don't leave my face tacky, streaky, and slightly whiter than my natural tone. I would never recommend this product to anyone.

Goes on soft, good for morning with SPF!

I really, really like the fact that this comes with SPF 30. I think I will use it as my morning moisturizer because I know how important it is to wear the SPF.
I think it goes on smooth and I liked the non scent and non irritating elements.

I don't think that the cleanser worked for me, but I liked the moisturizer as it can go on after a move heavy cleanse.
