Beyond the Pale is another Ottawa brewery that is quite experimental with their beers - they always have something new out!

The Darkness isn't for me - it's too...bitter in a way that I can't describe. It is dark and creamy, but not quite a stout.

I couldn't make my way through the pint. Thankfully I have friends who enjoy the weird beers more.
