Biore Acne Scrub

My face tends to break out really bad and I usually have trouble finding good products that work well, but I really like this face scrub. It’s super gentle and very effective. It leaves my face feeling super clean and definitely clears it up.

Absolutely would buy again! Leaves my skin soft and clear!

Love the exfoliating agent in it as well as the soft scent! My skin feels smooth and clear and it removes all the dead skin cells on my sensitive areas!

Scrubs well

Scrubs well and feels good on the skin. It is a bit grainy for me but definitely helps remove the dead skin and with use helps with acne. My skin feels a little dry after so I make sure I moisturize.

Didn't save my breakouts

Not a product i would get again. It didn't prevent my skin fom breaking out, in fact, I had more breakouts than normal when using it. The exfoliating bits were nice to use a couple times a week but took forever to rinse off. While I know it's just a scrub, I would have prefered some foaming action to make it a little less abrasive for everyday use.

Awful scrub!

I thought the baking soda scrub would be good as I’ve used Biore products before but i must of had a reaction to it as my face was so sore and red, it took several hours to go down and was still really sore afterwards. I don’t have sensitive skin, I have really oily skin so I’m not sure why that happened. I have tried it a couple of time’s since and the same reaction has happened.

Great scrub, but not sure about using this for acne...

PROS: Great scent (smells like grapefruit!); nice light/ almost creamy type consistency; lathers well; gently exfoliates; didn’t find it irritating (sometimes my skin gets inflamed when I use scrubs); seemed to tame my blemishes; like that it has baking soda!
CONS: My only complaint so far is that it didn’t rinse as well as I would like.
VERDICT: This is a good scrub/exfoliate. In regards to how it’s a “acne scrub” though, I don’t think I would personally use a exfoliate/ scrub when my face is breaking, as it (my face) gets sensitive especially during that time of the month and during any acne outbreaks. I think I will stick to my biore baking soda foaming cleanser for breakouts. But as a bi-weekly scrub for general use – this is a great, gentle one!

Would not buy this product again

It tells you to wet face & then put quarter size of product into hands, add water to activate. This is powder form, the way baking soda comes, when you put in hand & try to add water, some falls out of your hand, does nothing when adding water.(If it had been some sort of cream based, the baking soda would be easy to apply to face) It states "free your Pores", it doesn't do this either. After using product first time, my skin felt tight & really dry.
