Many thanks to the Chick Advisor team, who sent me this costly product to review. Unfortunately, I'm giving it a "fugheddaboutit!" rating because if I went to a Shoppers to buy this product for $79.00, I wouldn't be happy with so-so results.

I applied it for all 4 weeks, right before bed and in the morning to my back thighs and while you could notice some results, they weren't outstanding. It seemed to look a little tighter, but there were still definate signs of cellulite, so it was a problem fixer.

The product had a citrus smell which I really enjoyed and after application seemed to feel like it was tightening, making my skin feel a little like rubber. It didn't cause me to itch or break out into a rash, so that's a definate plus.

I think this product might work for people with very minimal cellulite, but where I have a little more, I found it not to be 100% effective.

OK, let me first start by saying that I'm 'recommending' this product (i.e., as a 'you betch') because there's no 'maybe' option - I'd have to say that I'd recommend this product for some reasons, but perhaps not some others. Let me explain:

I've been using the cream for about 10 days now, and basically I think my skin FEELS better (i.e., smoother, softer), but doesn't LOOK any different - I'm still seeing the same amount as cellulite as before I started using the product. In short, I'd say my skin is better 'in the dark', but that I'd still be self-concious in broad daylight in a bathing suit - does that make sense? The feel of my skin is actually really nice since using the cream (I've been focusing on my thighs and butt with this one, and the skin in that area feels better than anywhere else on my body!), and if there were no such things as mirrors, I'd probably swear that it had decreased my cellulite (because my skin feels so much smoother), but I honestly don't see a difference with my eyes. So bascially, I'd definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice skin 'smoother' or luxurious moisturizer, but tell them not to expect a miracle in terms of what might happen to the visual properties of cellulite.

I have been using this lotion for about 2 weeks now,
If you have severe cellulite I don't think you'll get rid of it ,with this lotion or any other,
But I have to say it did improve my skin texture ,it looks more even and smoother,
I have yet to finish the tube ...
Overall I recomend it for those who are willing to spend that money it's not a miracle
cure but leaves the skin looking better for sure!!!

I started using this product right after it arrived, focusing the slathering on the back of my thighs and rear, typical problem areas for most women. I like the scent and consistency, no complaints there and the tube is nice and sleek looking.

However, I had to stop using for a week or two because i found it made me itch during the day when I was sitting at work, so assumed some ingredient was irritating when wearing nylons or leggings. I waited a few days and started using again this week. So far haven't noticed any difference in the cellulite but will report when I have finished using the tube. Will keep at it until it's gone! Bikini season is coming and worth fighting the orange peel with all I've got.

    WHAT'S ADVERTISED

The folks at Biotherm claim that Celluli Laser D.Code targets the specific genes contained in the fatty tissues around the body that cause cellulite. Once targeted, its wonder ingredient, phytosveltyl, stimulates protein in your body to reduce fatty deposits building up and prevent new fat cells forming. Any existing cellulite you do have is broken down, and "voila - no more dimples!"

    THE REAL SCOOP

Biotherm Celluli Laser D.Code takes skincare and makes science fiction come to life... to a certain extent. While there is still no miracle cream out there, in the 3-4 weeks that I have been using this cream there has been an improvement over the past month in the look/texture of those oh-so-lovable "problem" areas (ie bum & thighs for me). Admittedly, the cellulite wasn't a prevalent issue that made me lose sleep at night but who wouldnt want to have a tighter body?

The fact of the matter is that cellulite is something that affects a majority of Canadian women and there are 2 contributing factors which cause this: genetics and lifestyle. A sedentary lifestyle (not getting enough exercise, poor circulation) and a diet that is increasingly comprised of processed foods can be changed to a certain degree by eating better and exercising, but genetics are unfortunately impossible to deal with.... until the introduction of Celluli Laser D.Code.

I have tried a similar offering from Shiseido ("Body Creator Aromatic Body Sculptor") in the past with mediocre results at best, so full credit given to the Laser D.Code for showing some signs of improvement and smoother skin. Results should be taken with a grain of salt because of our varying individual activity levels and pre-wired genetics. For myself, I am extremely active (gym 4-5x/week) and tend to eat well (more or less, with the occasional indulgence in sweets). In addition to the twice daily regimen of rubbing as directed, I suspect strongly that the active lifestyle is a huge contributing factor. I have made a conscious effort since the new year to increase water intake, which also helps to flush away toxins. The truth is, it is not the miracle cream that it promises to be but with visible results, it seems to be who eat well and exercise but still have dimpled skin.

Bottom line, at the price point that it is currently being offered at, would I re-purchase? The answer is a qualified yes. I do believe that these results warrant a longer-term usage, but my first recommendation would be for girlfriends to look into diet/exercise as the first line of defense. For the price (which is steep enough to deter first-time users), you do get a fair bit of product but you could also get some great workouts/exercise classes for that same price. This product shines with dedicated use and in conjunction with lifestyle changes.

I was looking forward to trying the Biotherm Celluli Laser D.Code cream and overall I would say that it worked well.
While its obvious that no cellulite creams can achieve permanent results, as far as a topical 'temporary' cream goes, this product did manage to reduce the overall appearance and texture of cellulite on my thighs and buttocks. It had a great light scent and non greasy texture and was very easy to apply.

I have never tried any other anti-cellulite creams so I can't compare this product to others. I did find however that I did not notice a big difference in the appearance of my skin afterward. For that reason I do not think I would spend the money to buy this product again. If the cost were less or the effects were more, then I would think of rebuying it.

I was selected to review this product as part of the PRC for Chick Advisor.

I have never used any cellulite creams/removal systems before so I'm not sure how this compares to others, but I did find that it gave me minimal results. I used it morning and night for two weeks and noticed a minor improvement to the dimples on the back of my thighs. I was surprised that the lotion had any effect at all, but a minimal improvement doesn't seem worth it to me.

The packaging was nice. The tube itself is a nice size and the product dispenses easily and in manageable quantities (never too much). The lotion isn't too runny or too thick. The smell was light and fresh and I didn't mind it. The thing I did mind was that the lotion had a lot of shimmer to it. This shimmer stayed on my legs and my hands (and rubbed off on my clothing and sheets). It was really annoying, but then again I don't like running around looking like a bedazzled fairy.

The $79 price tag for this product (plus tax) is way too high given the minimal results I experienced. I'm glad I had a chance to try it because there is no way I would spend close to $100 for 200 ml of cellulite cream (unless it really really worked wonders).

I was selected to review this as part of the Product Review Club and have had it for about 3 weeks now. Just as background, I'm pretty slim - size 0-4 (LOL - depending on if you're using my real size or my vanity Banana Republic size!) but I have a bit of dimpling on my skin. Nothing too bad, but any extra smoothing and tightening is appreciated!

I used this pretty regularly during the 3 week trial - non-offensive light scent and not sticky. Easy to apply - I basically applied it like a lotion over the affected areas. I would say that the skin looks smoother and a bit tighter but I don't know if this is a temporary effect. To be honest, I'm surprised how high the reviews are for this... I think it does help and if you've got some spare cash and really want any extra help before bikini season, it's worth a try. I don't think I'd spend the money on it personally as the difference was small in my case. I don't know if it's more pronounced if you have a lot of cellulite though.

I received a sample from a product review club. I have used many cellulite creams in the past, from ROC to Nivea. I was impressed with the way that this cream was applied - it didn't have a strong scent which is nice. I have been using it for 3 weeks and have noticed some results. Obviously this isn't magic, but anything that can help out is great in my books. This cream is a bit expensive, but if you want results, I would recommend it.
