Best sunscreen for sensitive skin

Love this product. NOW that the weather is nice u can use this sunscreen. My children and I have very sensitive skin and this does not itch or leave us feeling super dry.

SPF 50+ comes with the strongest UV protection yet. It’s light weight and oil free. Great to apply underneath makeup. Also it’s fragrance free. Using it everyday without any worries of harsh chemicals.

Great Consistency!

I received this product in exchange for my honest review on Butterly. It’s April in Canada so I can’t give an honest opinion on how well it protects against burns but I will say that I loved the consistency! You only need a little bit - a pea sized amount covered my whole forearm. It rubs in nicely, doesn’t leave a white residue, and has very little scent to it. So for these reasons I would recommend!!

Good for your face AND the coral reefs!

After my first trip to Hawaii I became SO AWARE of how important sunscreen is, and not just wearing it, but PICKING the best sunscreen that is not only strong enough to keep you safe, but also to keep the coral reefs safe too. Now, even though I don't spend a lot of time in the water, I do spend a lot of time in the sun and it's nice to know that this tube is good for grab and go wherever I travel. It goes on a little greasier than non-mineral sunscreen and will take a few minutes for a bit of a white-cast to fade, but after about 10 minutes from the application I never really felt like I was wearing it at all and went about my day.

First time trying out and I'm already a fan

I had my eyes on this sunscreen for a while and I'm glad I gotta try it. It doesn't leave a white cast and blends beautifully on the skin. The best part is that it's Water resistant, so great for those beach days too.

Works but is runny

I’ve never tried the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen brand before but was excited to be sent the Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50+ to take on my vacation.
This is Blue Lizard’s strongest UV protection which I appreciate as I have very sensitive skin so SPF 50+ is ideal for me. Also the fact that this used a mineral formula of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide vs irritating chemical active ingredients is what I look for in sunscreens. It is also reef safe.

This sunscreen worked well and it protected my skin in direct sunlight and even after swimming. I reapplied after 80 minutes and did not get sunburn like I have in the past. Unfortunately this sunscreen is runny and you really need to rub it in to avoid white cast. For this reason, I would continue using the sunscreen but would not put this on the top of my list as a repurchase.

Long lasting sun protection

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen is a new brand to me even though I'm from Australia. The Australian sun can be pretty harsh so Australian sunscreens are really formulated to last. This one has a mineral base of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide which means it is a bit harder to rub in then chemical based sunscreens. Once rubbed in it seems to last pretty well during usual low impact day to day activities but I think it would stand up to much more active activities including water sports as its meant to be water resistant for 80 mins.
Overall I think this is a great sunscreen for when you need a harder working sunscreen that stays on even through heavier activities.

good sunscreen

I have been using the Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 for the past week and here are my thoughts. I love that it didn't make me break out as it is made for sensitive skin. I also love the SPF 50 which is perfect for the summer. It doesnt feel to thick after applying but you can still feel it .However, the packaging of the product leak and spilled the sunscreen all over my bag.

Light

I like using this sunscreen everyday before I head outside. It is very light and it doesn’t bother my skin at all. It’s a great product and I would like to keep using.

Great sun protection

Today was one of the first real sunny days since I received the product so I decided I'd give it a try. Verdict: great stuff! Scent is nice, absorbs well, and does it's job. 10/10 would recommend!
