gentle and hydrating

My face can be extra temperamental when it comes to sunscreen, so I always am happy to discover an option that is compatible with my skin and doesn't trigger my eczema. This sunscreen is light weight, oil-free formula packed with: Hyaluronic Acid to keep your skin nourished and Green Tea and Caffeine to protect your face from UV rays. It does take a bit of time for it to absorb into the skin, but eventually does.

Cool Cap

The sunscreen applies nice - it’s not too thick and rubs in easily. It has a light scent that isn’t overpowering. I like the idea that the cap changes colour when exposed to harmful UV light - that’s a neat feature because even on a day you don’t think you need sunscreen the UV rays are there. Also the 50 SPF is a higher protection than I usually use but great to have the stronger protection.

Works well, but leaves a white film and heavier

I prefer sunscreen sprays; that's why when I had to review this lotion, I was a bit critical. It is white and thick, hence I need to rub it well. As I do, I see that it leaves a white film and makes my skin a bit shinier than I prefer. It is scent-free, water resistant and formulated for sensitive skin. It is reef safe, so I will save it for the upcoming vacation.

Perfect protection from the sun!

First of all this sunscreen has no fragrance. Atleast I didn't smell any scents. For me this is positive because it means it will not interfere with the scent of the perfume I'm wearing. It says its water resistant. Although I do not have the chance to go to the beach yet and don't own a swimming pool, I did test it out by taking a bath after using the product. I can say it is waterproof for at least during the 20-30 minutes bath time lol. This one is for sensitive skin and hence I would recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin.

Bonne crème minérale

J’ai reçu ce produit afin de le tester gratuitement. À l’habitude, je ne suis pas fan des crèmes solaires minérales pour leur effet « blanc », mais celle-ci m’a agréablement surprise. La peau ne reste pas blanche si on prend le temps de bien l’appliquer. Pas trop graisseuse non plus. Sans odeur, parfaite pour les peaux sensibles. J’en ai mis à mon garçon de deux ans sans crainte. Un plus pour le fait qu’elle ne soit pas dommageable pour les récifs. J’aime bien le bouchon qui change de couleur lorsqu’exposé aux rayons nocifs. Je recommande cette crème solaire, une belle alternative naturelle.

Great For Sensitive Skin!

I usually dislike sunscreens because my skin is super sensitive and I get teary with most sunscreens, but I don't have those kinds of issues with this one! On top of that, this sunscreen's cap changes colours when it's exposed to harmful UV lights which is super cool and I've never seen something like that before. I think the sunscreen is innovative and works great!

Works great!

Just when I was thinking of buying a sunscreen, #butterly gave me this #bluelizard sunscreen to try on and I absolutely love it. My skin is very dry and I usually get this white cast from other sunscreens, but this one had zero white cast after I rub it a few times. Also I loved the fact that it has lower chemical ingredients and more of a mineral based one. Overall, it’s a great sunscreen for dry skin.

Good product

The product is really good, definitely water resistant but I find the consistency a little too thick. I like sunscreens that are little less viscous. Overall product worth trying.

This product was kind of greasy when I applied it.
I wouldn't be able to purchase it again, because my son & I both broke out in rashes unfortunately.

Skin-friendly Sun Protection

I've recently made the switch from chemical to mineral sunscreen, as mineral-based sunscreen is generally considered a safer and more environmentally friendly option compared to chemical sunscreens.

With skin being the largest organ our bodies have, and with skin being tasked with the function of protecting our organs from external harm, looking after our skin's health is essential. Mineral sunscreens contain natural ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide that physically block the sun's harmful rays, whereas chemical sunscreens absorb the rays and can potentially cause skin irritation or other adverse effects. I appreciate that Blue Lizard have chosen to formulate a mineral-based sunscreen. Additionally, this sunscreen is free of parabens and fragrances.

The sunscreen is very thick, rather than a watery liquid, and unlike other sunscreens I've used, this one doesn't leave a greasy residue or shiny appearance on my skin. It's a refreshing change that has been helping me feel more comfortable wearing sunscreen daily.
