Easy to apply on skin. No strong scent. Light weight. If spread properly, no white cast. Sweat proof so great for on the go or workout. Unfortunately not small enough to travel with.

The best sun protection!

As an outdoor worker, I rely on a sunscreen that is going to protect me all day. I tried blue lizard sunscreen and was in the sun for about six hours. It applied nicely; it was not greasy and did not leave white residue on the skin. Throughout the day, I often got a quick smell of the sunscreen, but it was pleasant, but not medicinal just a little reminder that my skin is being protected. At the end of the day normally even while wearing sunscreen, I would be burnt, but not this time there was not even a hint of any sunburn and that was only after one application. I absolutely love this product And will continue to use it and highly recommend.

5 Stars Sunscreen

I was looking forward to try this mineral sunscreen. This one didn't make me look like a snowman. I enjoy the quick absorption, the no scent and the high SPF for my aging skin. Also it is eco friendly and a Sunscreen for the whole Family, no need to buy multiple different one. I will be taking this on my yearly South Bound Trip.

Gentle but strong sun protection!

I have sensitive skin, so I'm always cautious with sunscreens-but blue lizard sensitive SPF 50 really surprised me in a good way. It did not sting or cause any redness, and I love that it has organic aloe in it. It actually feels calming when I put it on, specially, after being in the sun..
The texture is on the thicker side, but I didn't mind it since it made my skin feel protected. There's a bit of white cast at first, but it fades pretty quickly once I rub it in. I also really appreciate that it's fragrance free.-nothing overpowering or irritating.
Overall, it's a solid sunscreen I feel good about using on my face and neck every day. Great for sensitive skin and peace of mind in the sun..

Way better sunscreens out there ✨

I was really excited to try this product. The formula and packaging were all good however the white cast was really visible. Maybe if you do not need to wear makeup after using this, it would be worth but while having to wear makeup after the white cast was visible and wouldn’t absorb in as quickly as I thought it would. Definitely not repurchasing this one.

Amazing

I love this mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin. Their is no strong smell, it goes on smooth and does not leave any greasy residue like most sunscreens. Leaves skin very soft after application, which makes me not afraid to apply and reapply multiple times to keep those rays away. Especially when out and about.

Bummer

Good g(reef)! I was stoked to try this blue Lizard sunscreen but, it unfortunately was a major bummer. The application was not easy and took a good 5 minutes to rub in fully. Even after absorbing into my skin, this sunscreen left my skin with a purple hue. I was left with a cast that was very noticeable and made my skin seem dry due to the residue. I can say that I this blue lizard can't hang ten and was a big wipeout.

Sun Safety with Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen

Getting ready for the local Farmers Market is fast with Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen.
I prefer mineral-based sunscreen products because they don't cause stains on my clothes like the chemical-based products however it's often hard to find a mineral-based sunscreen that fully absorbs without leaving a white residue. I tried the Blue Lizard Mineral Sunscreen for Sensitive skin before heading to my local farmers market on a beautiful sunny day and I was really impressed with how smooth the application of the cream was on my skin and it absorbed much faster than other brands I have tried. After shopping in the sun for a few hours, I noticed that the sunscreen did it's job: no sunburn! I got a slight suntan on my neck which would have easily been a painful burn if not for Blue Lizard!
Later this year, I have a trip to Hawaii scheduled and I will definitely be picking up another tube of Blue Lizard mineral-based sunscreen for that trip since it's reef-safe. I fully expect to use up this tube over the summer while walking the dog, gardening, and enjoying the local farmers markets.

Hydrating sunscreen

It takes a few minutes for the product to absorb to my skin. At first it looks like there would definitely be white cast, but when it completely sinks into skin, it looks and feels matching to my skin tone. It is hydrating but not sticky. I also love that it has no scent and does not sting my eyes.
