No smell & goes on with ease

I love that this is made for sensitive skin. I have two girls who are very fair and have eczema. They did not react to this at all and I am pleased with how easily it absorbs when rubbed in.

Our favourite sunscreen

We have used Blue Lizard sunscreen for the last 2 years and its the absolute best! Instead of using the baby line we have now made the switch to the sensitive line. So easy to apply and goes clear within seconds.

Much too white

To be honest, I'm not sold on this sunscreen. I like that it has a combination of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, as that works better for my skin and doesn't dry it out. I also like some of their other sunscreens, but I find this one to be too much work. It's really white, takes forever to rub in, leaves a white cast, and I find it greasy. I can tolerate it on my body, but I'm not a fan of it for the face. I will use it up, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Great for Sensitivity

For context I am a licensed esthetician, I have dark skin and I wear sunscreen daily. I used a 1/4 tsp of the sunscreen. I wore this sunscreen all day to test it. The picture shown is how it looks at the end of an 8 hour day. I love this sunscreen because it’s great for individuals who have skin sensitivity issues, it’s water resistant, broad spectrum and the cap changes color to indicate that sun protection is needed. I love that the brand doesn’t market to say that it doesn’t leave a white cast but that it rubs in clear. However, as a POC it does leave a white cast on darker skin tones even when rubbed in I would still wear it because the benefits are far more important and the white cast isn’t crazy. It is also thick and quite oily which doesn’t bother me at all. This particular product is great for the face, ear and neck but I wouldn’t use it on my body as it is thick and water resistant it will make a mess on everything you touch.

Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen

I received this sunscreen free of charge from Butterfly in exchange for a review. I am very excited that this sunscreen is fragrance free since I am hyper sensitive to fragrance. Typically the fragrance free sunscreens are really pricey, and this one is not. The sunscreen does not leave a greasy feeling on my skin. I highly recommend the Blue Lizard Sunscreen, and will definitely purchase it when I run out.

Great compact, high protection sunscreen

Appreciate Butterly for sending me a free sample of Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion for testing and review purposes. For the past week, I applied the sunscreen on my face, neck, and arms and did not experience any skin irritation or negative effects. I love how compact and distinct the packaging is, which truly represents the brand. I also love how this new formula mostly uses natural ingredients like aloe vera and its non-greasy texture. It is great for daily usage, especially since it is 50 SPF and protects your skin against the harsh UVA/UVB rays. Looking forward to applying it more often as the weather warms up!

Works Great!

I am in Mexico on vacation & brought this amazing sunscreen with me. This Sunscreen helped me big time while here in Mexico. I used this sunscreen on a boat trip today. It protected me all day. It is made for Sensitive Skin, with minerals. I love how it goes on white then after you give it a few rubs it goes clear. Australian made, coral safe for our reefs. When I got on the boat, we had to show our sunscreens to the tour guide. He checked each one to see if they were Reef friendly. Some were not mine was. Such a great product, saving me, saving the reefs. It's 50spf which is a good spf number to protect you out in the harmful rays of the sun. Its water resistant and will protect you up to 80 min. A Must Try!!

Good for the body

It’s perfect for the body and long beach days, but for the face, the white cast is real and quite thick. I do like it's good for sensitive skin and waterproof though.
