I love the Blue Lizard SPF 50 sunscreen lotion. It’s great for my sensitive skin! It’s gentle, 100% mineral, and doesn’t have any harsh chemicals or scent to it. It absorbs well and it’s water resistant upto 80 mins. Perfect for my summer walks, beach days and outdoor fun. Plus it’s vegan, and reef-safe. Definitely my go-to for everyday sun protection.

Very thick and white cast

This mineral sunscreen is great in every way except for how thick it is. Takes a lot of rubbing in and even then you still have a white cast and feels greasy. Love that it's for sensitive skin and doesn't contain any of the common ingredients that can irritate but the texture is not for me. It's wonderful that it's reef friendly but even on vacation I wouldn't use this cause of the texture. I have fair skin and burn as soon as I walk outside but I just don't like the consistency. I received this product free in exchange for my honest review.

Fabulous sunscreen

Love this sunscreen so much! It’s super hydrating which is great for my very sensitive skin. It also is fragrance free which is amazing - it barely has any scent so you don’t smell like traditional sunscreen all day long, also making me much more willing to reapply it and not get burnt. It’s very thick and easy to apply and spread for amazing sun protection!

Effective & reef responsible. White Cast.

I tried the blue lizard SPF 50 sensitive sun block. I love what the company stands for and how it protects our reefs. my only complaint is the white cast is insane and i also just smell the product all day long. I think it could have been slightly thinner for everyday wear. otherwise, I felt protected and safe using this product.

Safe for the environment & your child

As a mom, finding a good sunscreen for my kids with sensitive skin is tough, but BLUE LIZARD SUNSCREEN - SENSITIVE worked well for us. It’s mineral-based with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which are gentle and provide strong UVA/UVB protection. I love that it’s fragrance-free and paraben-free, so it doesn’t irritate my kids’ sensitive skin or noses. Plus, it’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, perfect for swimming or playing outside.

Dermatologists recommend it for sensitive skin, which gave me extra confidence. The only downside is the thicker texture—it can leave a white cast on the skin, which some might not like. My kids didn’t mind, but it’s something to know.

Sensory Friendly Sunscreen

I can’t wear a lot of sunscreen brands because the cream doesn’t sit right on my skin and I have very high sensory knees, which is why I usually stick to spray sunscreen even though I don’t like aerosol. However, this product it goes on very smoothly. It has no discernible smell the broad-spectrum 50 SPF protection is excellent and I love how easily it goes on and clear once you rub it in. It’s a fantastic product.

Easy to apply and smells great

This sunscreen is terrific. And smells great. It's SPF 50 and blocks out a lot of UV rays. I burn quickly and so far this didn't let me burn yet. It's creamy and easy to apply and rub on. Not greasy and no weird scents. Great for kids and almost forgot I even put it on.
