Sensitive Sunscreen For The Win

After testing out this sensitive sunscreen I am completely amazed. Not only did the product appeal to my kids but it left their skin so soft and not sticky at all! The sunscreen is not greasy and does not leave a white cast after applying. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Absolutely wonderful

The blue lizard mineral sunscreen with soothing organic aloe for sensitive skin is absolutely wonderful. It works well, made for those with sensitive skin, good for adults and children ages 6+, it does have a slight white cast when applying (which I find helpful for my little guy as he doesn't always sit still) and it absorbs quickly to the skin. Summer must have

A summer must have for myself and my toddler! With her “newer” skin and my sensitive skin I really prefer this blue lizard for sensitive skin at 50spf. I never go lower than a 50 spf which is why this product is perfect. It rubs in easily, which is ideal for a mineral sunscreen, and it does not have a scent which I prefer as my husband is allergic to scented products. I highly recommend picking some up for the whole family!

Works well, a bit of white cast but it does absorb

This Blue Lizard sensitive sunscreen is a mineral sunscreen so it does have somewhat of a white cast. I have very pale skin so I am able to rub it in well and not notice it.

It works well for me and kept me from getting burned when I walked and did other outside activities.

I love that this is for sensitive skin. I used it on my body with no issues.

I like that this is spf 50 so it has adequate sun protection, great for any outdoor activities and beach days.

This is a hypoallergenic formula that is water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes and is vegan.

It is also reef friendly which is so important.

Not as safe as it’s marketed

I received this to test and review for free from Butterly. This was initially appealing as it’s for sensitive skin and suppose to be better for u. I was feeling unwell for 3 days after using it (may be unrelated perhaps) but after reading up on some users, they’ve indicated there are toxic ingredients listed. I wouldn’t recommend

Summer essential!

I’ve been lucky enough to get to test two sunscreens from Blue Lizard, including this sensitive skin formula made with 100% zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I love that it’s free from harsh chemicals. My fair skin can be sensitive to sunscreens so I have to be careful with which ones I use, but this Blue Lizard Sensitive formula with soothing organic Aloe works well for me! I find mineral sunscreens can take a bit to rub in as not to leave a white cast but I didn’t find this one bad, and sunk into my nicely (didn’t leave a greasy top layer). It’s a perfect size bottle to throw in our beach/splash park bag!

Awesome sunscreen!

Loved this sunscreen!It is SPF 50 and kept our skin safe at the beach today! No whitecast and melted right into our skin when applying. Love that it is water resistant as well and safe for sensitive skin!

Recommended for Sensitive Skin

A sunscreen that is great for sensitive skin— no harsh chemicals and irritants! It takes a while to absorb in the skin but once it does, there’s no whitecast. Love the ingredients on this one!

Goes on thick, leaves smudge-marks on car windows

I work daily in a motor vehicle so I regularly use sunscreen products in sunny weather. Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion goes on thick. I can attest that it is quite water-resistant given that I can feel it present on my skin, even an hour after application, protecting me even after getting water on my skin, and because of this, I feel confident that my skin is protected using Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion. Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion is free from parabens, phthalates and fragrances, which is worth noting given that Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion is perhaps the first sunscreen lotion that I've used where I do not smell like I am wearing sunscreen. Overall, given my dark complexion, Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion does not blend perfectly invisible, even after much rubbing and trying to work the product in, and thus it leaves a faint white/blue cast. Furthermore, using Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion on a daily basis caused minor irritation to my skin (an itchiness with infrequent spaced-out red marks) which I have not experienced using other brands of sunscreen products. Finally, Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion does leave a greasy layer on the skin, which I have noted will leave smudge-marks on vehicle's windows should I rest my arm near them.

No weird smell or waxy feel

I am grateful for this new to me brand of sunscreen. It feels like nourishing skincare more than a sunscreen. Other brands and products that I have tried were a turn off and I only used them once. Now I am interested in more products in this line.
